Point Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Russell WestbrookOKC3Even without the fourth game, Westbrook still claims the top spot and we should expect him to dominate every category as consistently in 2018 as he did in 2017.
2Stephen CurryGSW3Curry is back and as we saw in his return to the court, he looks like he hasn't missed a beat and even if he plays fewer minutes, expect him to still produce.
3Chris PaulHOU3Paul is fully healthy and will need to be more of a factor on offense if James Harden misses time with a Hamstring injury. Expect scoring to increase.
4Eric BledsoeMIL4Bledsoe will continue acting as the Bucks second all-around option and as always expect consistency in scoring, assists and steals.
5Damian LillardPOR4He's been dealing with a Hamstring injury and may have to miss a game this week. He is currently Questionable for Monday.
6Kris DunnCHI4Dunn has improved each month and the Bulls are playing better basketball. His speed and vivaciousness when driving will allow him more shot opportunities. Assists and steals are a given.
7Kyle LowryTOR3Lowry continues to score in high volume and the Raptors have no problem letting him test out his hot streak and will keep feeding him the ball. Lowry is a solid floor general w/ assists.
8Kyrie Irving BOS3Irving will continue keeping the Celtics at the top of the Eastern Conference and his defense has improved this year and we can always expect points and dimes.
9John WallWSH3Wall is fully healthy and moving with the same speed as he did prior to injuring his Ankle and because the Wizards forwards can't keep up with him, he'll continue driving and dishing.
10Isaiah CanaanPHX4Canaan has taken full advantage of the vacancy at the PG spot for the Suns and Mike James and Tyler Ulis weren't getting the job done. He's been working up to being the third scorer.
11Jordan ClarksonLAL4Clarkson has filled in for Lonzo Ball nicely and will get more breathing room in the Lakers rotation because Kentavious Caldwell-Pope can't play road games. He's consistent at both guard spots.
12Tyus JonesMIN4We saw how productive Jones was when Teague was out earlier in the season and he'll see a lot of open three-pointers and has a lot of skilled-toys to play with on the wing and on the block.
13Lonzo BallLAL4Ball is still recovering from his sprained Shoulder, but could be back this week and he's going to miss at least one game to start his week.
14Dennis SchroderATL3Schroder will continue being the top scoring option and expect the chemistry to grow between Schroder and John Collins and his assists will start to increase. Always expect points.
15Spencer DinwiddieBKN3D'Angelo Russell is on his way back, but hats off to Dinwiddie and how he's attacked the basket and played the role of floor general and shot creator. Nets will keep his minutes secure, right?
16Goran DragicMIA3Dragic was a let-down when Hassan Whiteside is out, but now that the big man is back, Dragic's assists will go up and he'll see less attention from the opposition. Dion Waiters being out helps.
17Elfrid PaytonORL3Like Dragic, Payton didn't take full advantage of picking up the offensive ball when Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier were out. Now that they're back, expect dimes and steals consistently.
18Ish SmithDET3Smith is in a good situation with Reggie Jackson out and is very familiar with the Pistons offense and expect his usage to be full of points, assists and steals. He'll play deep into games.
19Austin RiversLAC3Dealing with an Achilles injury but wants to play all three of his games this week. Status remains in question for the week.
20Kemba WalkerCHA2Walker would be higher in the rankings this week but unfortunately drew the short slate. He remains the top option and we can always expect assists with high amounts of scoring.

Shooting Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Devin BookerPHX4Booker takes the top spot and since returning from injury, he's taken back the top option Crown for the Suns and owners should expect consistent scoring in the mid 20's on average.
2Khris MiddletonMIL4Middleton remains an important part of the offense and continues to see open shots and he can create from the high post and take advantage of mis-matches. He'll dish assists too.
3CJ McCollumPOR4McCollum will continue to be the top scoring option if Damian Lillard needs more time to recover and we should expect his usage to bbe very high and he'll help run the offense.
4Justin HolidayCHI4Holiday is hanging on to his playing time and with the Bulls just about at full strength, he'll be used more as a bailout three-point shooter, but he's helped with boads and steals on the other side
5Andrew WigginsMIN4Wiggins will finally have a secure amount of shots with Jeff Teague out and he'll be fed more at the wing. He'll provide minor rebounding and assist help. He needs to drive more.
6DeMar DeRozanTOR3DeRozan will continue to hound the opposition on the perimeter. He's excellent at reading screens. He'll continue being four to five category producer.
7Bradley BealWSH3Beal is the best Beal when he's cutting. The opposition knows he likes to set up at the arc, but he's been cutting and keeping up with Wall more on the break. If he cuts more, he'll score more.
8Klay ThompsonGSW3With Curry back, Thompson's shots will take a hit, but when Klay is hot, they'll keep feeding him the ball and a back door cut to the rim isn't out of the question.
9Lou WilliamsLAC3With Austin Rivers banged up, Williams will have to rotate to both guard spots and with Blake Griffin back it will give Williams more assist opps less defensive pressure.
10James HardenHOU3While dominating his final match up of 2017, Harden had to leave the game after suffering a Hamstring injury. Status uncertain for the week.
11Donovan MitchellUT3Mitchell is completely over his toe injury and we can continue to expect him drive the lane with force and draw contact. Mitchell has a nice cut to the basket and can rotate to both guard spots.
12Gary HarrisDEN3Harris is over his Shoulder injury as he's been shooting the ball better and better from the arc. He's the Nuggets second scoring option but first shooter and he'll continue to get fed.
13Kent BazemoreATL3Bazemore has been working the high post a bit more on offense and that's allowed him to get into the lane. Bazemore can hit long-range shots, but is most efficient from mid-range.
14Kentavious Caldwell-PopeLAL4It's a very strange situation because when he plays he's good for points, boards and steals, but by Law, he still can't play games outside of California. He'll miss one game this week.
15Eric GordonHOU3If Harden has to miss time, Gordon will be the biggest beneficiary of minutes and shots and he can rotate to both guard spots and will play deep into games and dish dimes from the PG spot.
16Jaylen BrownBOS3Brown's Knee has been a bit concerning but continues to play through the pain and he rotates very well on the perimeter on defense and he gets open long-range shots.
17J.J. BareaDAL3Barea continues to benefit from Seth Curry being injured and he can fill in at both Guard spots and he'll contribute points, boards, assists and steals mainly while coming off the bench.

Small Forward

2Kevin DurantGSW3Durant's usage drops slightly with the return of Curry, but because the Warriors frontcourt is very low-block only, he'll continue producing from right inside the arc and help in all categories.

4T.J. WarrenPHX4Warren will see less defensive pressure with Booker back and will remain heavily in the offense as the second scoring option. Warren will grab long-rebounds and steals.

14Kawhi LeonardSAS4Leonard will probably miss at least one game this week due to having a back to back, but has been scoring more and running better. The Spurs will continue to bring him along slowly.

17DeMarre CarrollBKN3Carroll hits shots from mid and long-range and he follows those shots up by grabbing a good amount of boards. He's a strong defender and will swipe balls while defending in the post.
18Joe InglesUT3Ingles continues to see open shots due to the opposition needing to cover the lane because of Donovan Mitchell. Ingles will step inside and try to keep plays alive.
19Josh RichardsonMIA3Richardson will see more usage with Dion Waiters hurt and he can play multiple positions. Expect him to be scoring in double figures consistently if he can stay healthy.

Power Forward

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Giannis AntetokounmpoMIL4When the Greek Freak has a full slate of games, he immediately comes to mind when you think of potential top performer for the week. He'll continue being a five-category producer.

12Julius RandleLAL4Randle has been seeing more playing time with Lopez out and he's a low block inside scorer and he'll grab offensive and defensive rebounds consistently.
13Al-Farouq AminuPOR4Aminu will see time with the ball especially if Lillard needs to miss another game because the Balzers will need their big men to slash and give them an inside presence.
14Anthony DavisNO2Davis would obviously be muich higher in these rankings, but he drew the short slate this week and as owners know, he can fall and leave the game at any moment.
15Tobias HarrisDET3Harris continues to shoot better from the outside and we can expect consistent scoring, rebounding and steals and he has good slashing ability and will be used more with Reggie Jackson out.

Center

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Karl-Anthony TownsMIN4The KAT keeps the top spot and even though the scoring has dropped, he'll still help in other areas. Maybe, it's too much three-point shooting? He has a massive physique and should use it.

3Enes KanterNY4Kanter's aggresivness continues to improve and he keeps plays alive on offense and can score in the post and right inside on bigger defenders. He grabs a lot of boards.
4Pau GasolSAS4Gasol will still be utilized even with Kawhi Leonard back and his playing time is secure because Rudy Gay is out and Aldridge will need to remain at the PF spot. Expect points and boards.

7Jusuf NurkicPOR4Nurkic struggled for a bit but has been better lately and will be utilized more if Lillard needs more time off. He has good post moves and grabs boards consistently unlike other Blazers.
8Hassan WhitesideMIA3We're starting to see shades of the old Whiteside which shows that his health is improving and his playing time will improve throughout the week. The Heat COULD rest him one game.

10Al Horford BOS3Horford continues shooting effectively as always from the arc and grabbing boards and even blocks consistently. He'll always play deep into games. He's been helpful with assists as well.
11Tyson ChandlerPHX4The Suns are going to use Chandler more this month because they're dangling him in trades prior to the trade deadline in February. When he plays, he's always good for boards in volume.
12Robin LopezCHI4Lopez continues suceeding inside by using one-handed moves in the post. He's very scrappy on defense and will continue seeing games in the 30's because of how much he fights for boards.
13John HensonMIL4Henson continues scoring off of second-chance opportunities and he's been consistent with grabbing boards in the paint. He'll also provide help with blocks.
14DeMarcus CousinsNO2Cousins is the most dominant fantasy basketball Center, but unfortunately this five-category player drew the short slate this week.
