Isaiah Thomas underwent resurfacing surgery on his right hip in May and will be ready for the 2020-21 NBA season according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This news obviously flew under the radar because it happened when the NBA was paused. Thomas has been battling this hip issue for three years and Shams is reporting that this latest surgery should completely resolve it. Thomas has been a shell of himself ever since and it remains to be seen how much interest he'll draw on the open market. What he does have working for him is the fact that this is a very underwhelming free agent class. Oct 05 1:39 pm (EST)
- Thomas, who was acquired in a three-team, four player trade Thursday, will not be retained by the Clippers, David Aldridge of The Athletic reports.
- Thomas was traded from the Wizards to the Clippers on Thursday as part of a three-team, four player deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
- Thomas supplied 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 19 minutes Tuesday in the Wizards' 151-131 loss to the Bucks. All Isaiah Thomas News
