Anthony Davis will miss the next four weeks due to his calf injury, according to coach Frank Vogel.
The Lakers want to give him time to fully recover before the playoffs start, so AD's going to be on the shelf for the foreseeable future. And since we don't know what the second-half schedule is going to look like for the Lakers, it's impossible to guess when he'll play again. The Lakers have seven games left before the All-Star break and then he'll likely miss at least six or seven more games after that. So in a 72-game season with 44 or so games already in the books, AD will be looking at a maximum of 28 regular-season games left once he's potentially cleared to play. And it's entirely possible he may only play in half of those (14). It's going to be a rough ride the rest of the way if you've got Davis on your roster. Feb 19 12:55 am (EST)
