Dion Waiters recently shared a picture of himself on Instagram looking slim and fit, adding that he was in a "dark place mentally [and] physically" last season.
"Last year ... I came off [one] of the most depressing & frustrating times of my life," Waiters wrote. "Coming off injury & not feeling like myself nor looking like myself I was in a dark place mentally & physically, Because the game I love so much was taken away due to season ending surgery." Heat president Pat Riley said at the end of the year that Waiters was "playing on 1 1/2 ankles" after extensive surgery last January, but it sounds like he's back in competitive shape. With Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro in Miami now, however, Waiters has an uphill battle for fantasy relevance. Jul 17 11:47 pm (EST)
