Jusuf Nurkic (right wrist fracture) out will be out for at least eight weeks after undergoing surgery, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
It's not quite the broken wrist that was originally reported, but either way, this is a tough blow for Nurkic and the Blazers as the center missed much of last season after he broke his leg in the 2018-19 season. And with Nurk out, there will be 23 minutes and a starting spot up for grabs with Enes Kanter likely to be the biggest beneficiary here. Pick him up immediately if he's still available. Kanter is already averaging a near double-double off the bench this year. Yesterday 3:47 pm (EST)
