Analysis

1

Russell Westbrook

OKC

4

Westbrook keeps the top spot with the full slate of games and with Andre Roberson out for the season, more will be asked from Westbrook on offense and defense from the perimeter.

2

Damian Lillard

POR

4

Lillard remains the top option for the Blazers as their mid-court doesn't provide any consistency and most of the offense continues to run through him.

3

Stephen Curry

GSW

3

Curry is healthy and even with Kevin Durant back to 100 percent, his assist numbers should see a minor bump over the next few weeks. Always expect three's and assists.

4

Kyrie Irving

BOS

4

Owners could use a bit more assist help from Irving, but the offense continues to run through him and with Marcus Smart hurt, he'll play even more.

5

Kyle Lowry

TOR

4

The Raptors mid-court doesn't help out with providing the offense so it forces Kyle Lowry to be constant shooter, even when he's not open. Continue to expect assist help.

6

Kemba Walker

CHA

4

Is Walker auditioning for another team? Walker has taken advantage of harder match ups recently and continues to be a scoring and assist machine for the Hornets.

7

Chris Paul

HOU

3

Paul has been able to get his own chunk of shots in and will have plays in which he doesn't pass off and takes it to the rack himself. With James Harden at full strength, expect more dimes.

8

Dennis Schroder

ATL

4

Schroder is by far and away the top scoring option for the Hawks and his drive game continues to improve and he'll help consistently with assists and steals.

9

Eric Bledsoe

MIL

4

With The Greek Freak back in action, expect Bledsoe's scoring to dip a little bit, but his assist numbers should increase this week.

10

Goran Dragic

MIA

4

Dragic is healthy again and with Tyler Johnson back, he can focus on driving and dishing rather than creating shots for himself and he'll help with steals on the defensive end.

11

Spencer Dinwiddie

BKN

4

The Nets are being very careful with D'Angelo Russell's minutes and Dinwiddie continues to get full minutes and usage and if Hollis-Jefferson can't go, more offense will come from the periemter.

12

Jeff Teague

MIN

4

Teague has been very up and down since Jimmy Butler returned. Expect him to shoot a little less this week and focus on playmaking and his assist numbers should improve.

Collison will get a bump when it comes to his assist numbers with Myles Turner back in the lineup and owners can expect him to take six to eight shots per game this week.

14

Jamal Murray

Murray has stood out and has balanced out his driving and shooting nicely. He's an excellent long-range shooter and see's a lot of open shots when Nikola Jokic sets up at the perimeter.

15

T.J. McConnell

PHI

4

McConnell continues to be scrappy and that's earned him more minutes. Owners can expect J.J. Barea-type stats and he'll help with scoring, boards, assists and steals.

16

Jarrett Jack

NY

4

Jack continues to do just enough to be a viable fantasy option. He steadily see's minutes in the 20's and is a drive-first PG and helps big time with assists and he'll grab steals on the other end.

17

Elfrid Payton

ORL

3

Payton is always better when he uses his quickness and doesn't try to create as many shots for himself. He'll look to drive more with Nikola Vucevic still out.

18

Dennis Smith Jr.

DAL

3

Smith continues to be a good secondary scoring option and he utilizes his quick drive down the middle. Owners can use some more assist help from him and he'll continue to improve.

UT

3

With the emergence of Donovan Mitchell, Rubio can focus on what he's best at; passing. Rubio will continue to push the ball inside and his assist numbers should improve and he'll score off of driving.

20

John Wall

WSH

Currently listed as day to day with a Knee injury. Wall missed his previous game and his status for the week is currently up in the air.

Analysis

1

James Harden

HOU

3

Harden keeps the top spot without having a full slate of games because he's a better scorer and passer than Oladipo. With Trevor Ariza hurting, expect a more shot-happy Harden from three.

2

Victor Oladipo

IND

4

Oladipo continues his amazing season and has been a consistent scorer burning defenders from the perimeter. He's executed the pick and pop nicely and still finds the cutter inside.

3

DeMar DeRozan

TOR

4

DeRozan shares top scoring responsibilities with Lowry, but DeRozan is a much bigger threat because of his size, agility and he continues to turn to the opposite side to hit turn-around jumpers.

4

Khris Middleton

MIL

4

Middleton should see a bit of relief on defense with The Greek Freak back. Expect him to see more open jumpers from downtown and he'll help set plays up at the elbow and that'll help w/ dimes.

5

Tyreke Evans

MEM

4

Missed his previous two games and is QUESTIONABLE for Monday's game with an illness.

6

CJ McCollum

POR

McCollum will continue to see a lot of shots because of the Blazers lack of consistency in other areas. He remains boom or bust for other categories not including scoring and steals.

7

Tim Hardaway Jr.

NY

Hardaway Jr. is healthy and owners should expect full usage this week. He's the Knicks second scoring option and his drive-game he's developed over the last year has made him more of a threat.

Gary Harris

DEN

4

Harris is healthy again and his shooting motion looks back to normal and he looks comfortable with the ball and owners can expect his scoring numbers to improve this week.

9

Andrew Wiggins

MIN

4

With Jimmy Butler back in the lineup, Wiggins will be in a constant battle for shots. If he drives more and stays out of the corner, he'll get fed more. He'll help push the ball inside.

10

Kent Bazemore

ATL

4

Bazemore has been setting up more at the elbow than the perimeter and he's taken advantage of smaller match ups. He's not just a perimeter threat anymore and is the Hawks second option.

11

Bradley Beal

WSH

3

Beal will have to continue running with Wall so he can be hit inside on the drive and with Otto Porter Jr. setting up more at the arc lately, Beal will need to be the cutter.

12

Jaylen Brown

BOS

4

Brown is healthy and he takes a lot of perimeter jumpers, but is good at following up his own shots and owners should expect scoring, assists and steals from Brown.

13

Jeremy Lamb

CHA

4

Lamb continues to be the spark-shooter off the bench and he's got a quick shot release that's hard to contend against. He burns teams from distance and will drive and dish inside.

14

Nicolas Batum

CHA

4

Batum is slowly getting better, but he still looks slow. The scoring is starting to improve and hopefully, he'll begin grabbing more long rebounds for owners. Is that Elbow 100 percent?

15

Jrue Holiday

NO

3

Holiday will need to handle more of the scoring with DeMarcus Cousins out for the season. Expect him to drive towards the free-throw line to get openings as the Pelicans second option.

16

Klay Thompson

GSW

3

We all know Thompson is a great shooter and increases leads for the Warriors quickly and he'll provide some rebounding help. He's good at rotating on the perimeter and will grab steals.

17

Allen Crabbe

BKN

4

The good news for Crabbe is that he can play multiple positions, D'Angelo Russell is restricted and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is hurting. He'll see more usage this week.

18

Tyler Johnson

MIA

4

Johnson is healthy again and with Dion Waiters hurt, he'll continue to see more minutes and shots and he compliments Wayne Ellington nicely because he looks to drive.

19

Donovan Mitchell

UT

3

The impressive rookie season continues for Mitchell and his driving ability has allowed players like Joe Ingles to get open three's because of the amount of attention he commands.

20

Devin Booker

PHX

4

We're awaiting X-Ray's on his Hip and Rib area after he took a hard foul trying to block a shot on Sunday night. Status is up in the air for the week.

4

Butler returned to the lineup and picked up right where he left off. He was moving well on the court and the Knee injury looks behind him for now. He plays shutdown perimeter defense.

4

George will need to command the ball from the perimeter more and will have to focus on the perimeter on defense with Andre Roberson out for the season..

5

Robert Covington

PHI

4

Covington looked lost in the Sixers offense for a bit, but with the three's falling and the confidence clearly higher, he'll be a viable scoring and rebounding option and can play both forward spots.

6

4

Warren could be looking at a week of being a top scoring option if Booker needs to miss time. Warren will also help with boards, dimes and steals. He's a consistent long-range shooter.

Will Barton

DEN

4

Barton has done an excellent job breaking through and he's getting starts because of his effort on both sides of the ball and has proven to be a multi-category producer.

14

Lance Stephenson

IND

4

Stephenson's play has improved lately and he finds ways to get a chunk of shots. He'll grab boards, dish dimes and even grab steals on the perimeter. He utilizes his drive game and agility.

15

Wayne Ellington

MIA

4

Ellington has been a consistent double-digit scorer and owners can continue to expect him to get a lot of open three-pointers, but he will sneak inside to keep plays alive. He'll also help w/ steals.

16

Otto Porter Jr.

WSH

3

Porter's offensive game has been inconsistent lately, but owners can expect enough rebounds and steals from him. When he's hot, he's a consistent double-digit scorer. He's not driving enough.

17

Evan Fournier

ORL

3

Fournier is very scoring dependant and will continue being the second scoring option until Nikola Vucevic returns. He'll see a healthy chunk of long-range shots, but normally stays at the arc.

18

Brandon Ingram

LAL

3

Ingram is healthy and he continues to not only get plays set up for him in the post, but he also has had to handle the ball more with Lonzo Ball still out. Expect good assist numbers this week.

The Jazz Guards being drivers benefits Ingles because he gets a lot of open jumpers. He continues to be one of the best three-point shooters in the league.

20

Wesley Matthews

DAL

3

Matthews continues to score in double figures and he's excellent at taking advantage of match ups and calls for the ball a lot on the elbow. He'll help with boards and steals to a lesser extent.

MIL

4

Giannis is back and owners can expect full usage and minutes this week and he helps with most fantasy basketball categories at an extremely high level.

2

Ben Simmons

PHI

4

Simmons shot is still developing, but he continues to be an excellent driver, passer and rebounder. He has very good leaping ability in the lane and will handle the ball a good amount.

3

Anthony Davis

NO

3

Davis is about to see a ton more usage with Cousins out for the season. Owners should brace for impact as teams will look to be more physical with him and he gets banged up a lot.

4

Kristaps Porzingis

NY

4

With Hardaway Jr. back, it takes the scoring burden off of Porzingis a bit and his minutes should be controlled. If he plays fewer minutes, don't get upset b/c his usage will remain the same.

5

Carmelo Anthony

OKC

4

Anthony has been much more of a factor offensively lately and he's also been a pretty reliable rebounder. He gets a lot of shots from the arc and elbow and has been a strong third option.

6

Dario Saric

PHI

4

Saric can play multiple positions and has looked like the Saric of last season lately as he's been much more aggressive in the lane and has been helpful with scoring, boards and blocks.

7

Draymond Green

GSW

3

We all know the story with Green as every point he scores should be looked at as an added bonus. He'll grab a ton of boards, steals, blocks and he'll dish inside.

8

LaMarcus Aldridge

SAS

3

Aldridge will need to continue to be the top option with Kawhi Leonard out and he's been very beneficial in helping with scoring, boards and blocks. He has a nice long-range game.

9

Domantas Sabonis

IND

4

Even with Turner back, expect Sabonis to still get a lot of minutes as he's played in the paint a lot more this season and he continues to grab a ton of boards.

10

Taj Gibson

MIN

4

Gibson doesn't need a ton of minutes to compile a double-double and continues to be tough to box out inside. He takes advantage of second chance scoring.

11

Thaddeus Young

IND

4

Young is still an effective slasher and grabs boards by following his shots up. On defense, he's staunch on the perimeter and at the elbow and will use his long arms to grab steals.

12

Serge Ibaka

TOR

4

Ibaka will never be huge offensive threat if he doesn't set up in the paint, but owners can still expect three-point shooting and rebounds. He's not as effective of a blocker anymore.

13

Aaron Gordon

ORL

3

Gordon continues to get the jon done all over the curt as the Magic's top option. He shoots effectively from mid-range, but is a much better driver and he'll help with boards and steals.

14

Al-Farouq Aminu

POR

Johnson fights hard in the lane for loose balls and he barrels his way in the lane and takes a ton of contact. His Ankle injuries are currently behind him and he'll run the point as well.

16

John Collins

Collins will see more minutes down the stretch and he's learning how to create in the post. He has a good mid-range game, but the Hawks want him to focus on battling in the paint.

Analysis

1

Karl-Anthony Towns

MIN

4

With Cousins out for the season, expect to see Towns as the top Center option a lot moving forward. He helps with most categories and even takes a good amount of long-range jumpers.

2

Joel Embiid

PHI

4

Embiid is starting to get the green light to play in back to back games and that's a good sign, but owners must know that the second he gets sore, he'll be restricted.

3

Nikola Jokic

DEN

4

Jokic continues to produce points both at the arc and inside and as the Nuggets top option, he gets fed a ton and drives himself. He pulls down a ton of boards.

4

Marc Gasol

MEM

4

With Mike Conley out for the season, Gasol will need to carry the scoring burden for the rest of the way and his long-range game is consistent and he'll grab boards and blocks on the other side.

Dwight Howard

CHA

4

Howard's makes getting double-doubles look easy and takes advantage of lazy post play to keep plays alive and dunk the ball back in. He'll help with blocks consistently.

6

Hassan Whiteside

MIA

4

Whiteside looks fully healthy and owners can expect to see a lot more 30-minute games moving forward and is always a huge scorer and rebounder. He also blocks shots inside.

7

Al Horford

BOS

4

Horford has been the main inside option and even though he draws defenders outside, he's been using his spin moves inside to create more for himself and has been a reliable rebounder.

8

Andre Drummond

DET

3

Drummond moves down without the full slate, but his rebounding alone helps him hit value. Drummond gets a lot of plays called for him right under the basket and uses his size to take advantage.

9

Steven Adams

OKC

4

Adams is a gritty inside player who will continue to score from the low-block and he'll grab a ton of rebounds. The other Thunder options set up outside and he'll continue to get fed in the paint.

10

Enes Kanter

NY

4

Kanter continues his strong season as he constantly sets up in the paint. It's night and day from last season where he would set up at the arc and wait to be fed. This year, he commands the ball inside.

11

Myles Turner

IND

4

Turner is back from his Elbow injury and owners can expect their scoring and rebounding numbers to improve this week. Turner as the Pacers second option will be fed a lot this week.

POR

4

Nurkic continues to utilize his strong post-game and his moves allow him to have an easy path to the basket and put him in the position to grab a good amount boards.

13

Kevin Love

CLE

3

Love needs to set up in the paint more and has the post moves to be successful. He sets up too much at the arc. We get it, he can shoot three's! He has strong rebounding ability inside.

14

Jonas Valanciunas

TOR

4

Valanciunas doesn't need a lot of playing time to produce points and boards and his stats are quietly getting better and is starting to separate himself from the Raptors other options.

15

Clint Capela

HOU

3

Capela will get more plays called for him inside if Ariza can't play this week because without having their main bailout option, Houston will have to show more presence inside.

16

Dewayne Dedmon

ATL

4

Dedmon needs jus 22 minutes to get a double-double and is the Hawks strongest inside player and continues to be a hard player to box out in the lane.

17

Greg Monroe

PHX

4

We're putting trust in Monroe this week because of Alex Len's Ankle injury, but owners and DFS players must know that he can be held out for no reason at anytime and we don't want a zero.

18

Rudy Gobert

UT

3

Gobert is putting his injuries behind him slowly. Owners should expect more playing time and usage this week and he's a strict inside player and he's always reliable in blocking shots.

19

John Henson

MIL

4

Henson will take adavantage on the glass and will score off of second-chance opportunities. Expect six to eight rebounds per game and he'll see opening with The Greek Freak back on the court.

20

Pau Gasol

SAS

3

Gasol continues to be a strict post-player and has used his reach to score efficiently and he's grabbed double-digt rebounds in two of his last three games.
