Robert Covington (nose) played on Thursday but hit just 1-of-2 shots and a 3-pointer for three points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in a 110-100 Game 4 loss that put the Rockets in a 3-1 hole against the Lakers.
It was nice to see Covington out there after taking a brutal shot to his nose, courtesy of an Anthony Davis elbow in Game 3, but he didn't do much of anything. And given the fact that Covington has been the X-factor for the Rockets in this series thus far, his disappearing act was a buzzkill for Houston. The Rockets aren't dead yet, but they're down 3-1 in the series and the Lakers appear to be poised to put them away in one of the next two games and move on to the Western Conference Finals. Covington will probably have to have a big game on Saturday if the Rockets want to push the Lakers to a Game 6 on Monday. Sep 10 10:05 pm (EST)
