Point Guards

NAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
Stephen CurryGSW4Curry: He's dealing with a minor Hand injury, and may sit tonight versus Sacramento. If he sits, Russell Westbrook takes the top spot at PG.
Russell WestbrookOKC3Westbrook is still producing at a very high level despite the scoring drop. Always expect a high number of rebounds, assists ans steals and would be ranked No. 1 if we knew Curry was sitting.
Lonzo Ball LAL4Ball's shooting struggles are what everyones been focusing on since college. He'll provide consistent rebounding, assists and steals. He has the makeup of a more traditional PG.
Goran DragicMIA4Dragic continues to hit the knockdown three-pointer and attack the rim with the ball. Because Hassan Whiteside requires a lot of attention, the lane remains open.
Damian LillardPOR3Lillard moves down the rankings with the lack of fourth game, but he continues to be the everything guard and most of the offense continues to come out of the Blazers backcourt.
Reggie JacksonDET4Jackson has not only shot the ball better this season, but he's making better decisions with the ball. He looks healthy, quick and has been beneficial when the Pistons are on transition.
Elfrid PaytonORL4Payton looks like he's over his Hamstring injury and he's attacking the rim more rather than relying on passing off. Payton is a much better passer than shooter and grabs steals on the other side of the ball.
Chris PaulHOU3Chris Paul is back in full force and has been doing a good job mixing up the Rockets offense between Harden isolation and hitting the cutter. He can always be relied for assists and a lot of scoring.
Kyrie IrvingBOS3Irving has needed to take on a bigger role with Gordon Hayward out and he's getting a lot better shots in Boston than Cleveland because of how dangerous Boston is as a whole and continues passing well.
Austin RiversLAC4Rivers gets a big bump due to Patrick Beverley being out for the season. Milos Teodosic being out gives Rivers more rotation security and Lou Williams will handle SG duties for the most part.
Jeff TeagueMIN4Dealing with Achilles soreness and has missed his last two games and could be ruled out for Tuesdays's game versus the Wizards.
Darren CollisonIND3Collison continues to get his piece of the offense and has been helping with assists and steals and Victor Oladipo is a bit banged up and should be getting more shots over the next few games.
Eric BledsoeMIL3Bledsoe is mixing in nicely with the Bucks and continues to feed Giannis Antetokounmpo as soon as he crosses the arc and serves as a bailout option to hit the knockdown three-pointer.
Ricky Rubio UT3Rubio's shooting has been all over the place, but when it comes to running the point, Rubio has been setting up his teammates nicely, especially when on the run and feeding Donovan Mitchell
Spencer DinwiddieBKN3Dinwiddie continues to benefit from D'Angelo Russell being out and should continue getting a ton of minutes and he utilizes his quickness well by attacking a lot and he'll help with steals.
Dennis Smith Jr.DAL3Smith Jr., has the attacking ability down, but when the lane is closed off, he runs into trouble and often passes off and becomes a bailout option for the wings. He'll help mainly with scoring.
Kyle LowryTOR2Lowry continues to be the 1A option on the Raptors and will help primarily with scoring and assists, but moves down because he has the the short slate.
Kemba WalkerCHA2Walker will need to continue handling most of the Hornets production himself as Nicolas Batum is still dealing with Elbow issues and we can expect him to be shooting more over his short slate.
Kris DunnCHI3Dunn looks a lot quicker and will get the bulk of the minutes and he can rotate to SG if needed. He'll provide a balanced stat-line and score in double figures and he'll help w/ boards and assists as well.
Mario ChalmersMEM3Chalmers will continue to start in place of the injured Mike Conley and the Grizzlies don't have too much PG depth and he'll have a long leash. He's been a huge help with steals over the last few weeks.

Shooting Guards

NAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
James HardenHOU3Even with three games, Harden continues to dominate all-around and will still have huge scoring and assist games even with Chris Paul back in the Rockets lineup.
Lou WilliamsLAC4Giving Williams a huge boost this week because of the full slate and the Clippers need for him to play deep into games because of lack of Guard depth. He can rotate at both Guard spots.
Andrew WigginsMIN4Wiggins has been shooting the ball well and has been a huge threat to Jimmy Butler's shots all season and serves as the Timberwolves primary bailout option at the arc.
Kentavious Caldwell-PopeLAL4KCP has a high post game that he will utilize right inside the arc and he'll grab boards. KCP can create nicely from the elbow and get inside but because Ball is such a driver, KCP stays at the arc.
JJ RedickPHI4Redick, normally a one-trick pony by providing owners with scoring in three's, will help with other categories such as steals and assists to a lesser extent. He'll fight for long rebounds.
Avery BradleyDET4Bradley doesn't drive as much in this offense because the Pistons have skilled big men who can get in the lane. Bradley will mainly serve as a bailout option from the arc or mid-range and help with steals.
Bradley BealWSH3Beal will be utilized more over the next couple of weeks because John Wall is out and Tim Frazier can't drive the lane as effectively. Expect more shooting from Beal and time with the ball.
Khris MiddletonMIL3Middleton will continue creating from the high post and work his way inside to draw contact. Middleton always has his outside shooting sweet spot from the top of the key.
Danny GreenSAS4Kawhi Leonard's health continues to be a mystery and Green will continue getting more shots in the Spurs offense. Green has earned more minutes for playing good perimeter defense.
Victor OladipoIND3He's been suffering from swelling in his Knee and needed to sit in his previous game and his status is unknown for tonight against Orlando.
Devin BookerPHX3Dealing with a minor Toe injury that kept him out on Sunday making him questionable for his game on Tuesday versus Chicago.
CJ McCollumPOR3McCollum will continue to see a high volume of shots in the Blazers offense because their inside offense is very limited. McCollum is mainly a scorer, but will have games in which he'll pull down boards.
Jrue HolidayNO3With the Pelicans the healthiest they've been all season, Holiday will work primarily as the SG and take a lot of shots from beyond the arc. The assists will still be there when he rotates to PG.
Tim Hardaway Jr. NY3Hardaway has been playing a lot better. He's been scoring a lot more and when his shot is falling, his aggresivness improves and he'll work his way to the rim until stopped.
Tyreke EvansMEM3The Grizzlies lack of depth has given Evans a real opportunity to provide a balanced stat-line and he'll help owners with just about every category and gets a ton of minutes.
Jaylen BrownBOS3Brown attended a friend's Funeral and should be back playing in all games for the Celtics this week and he mainly produces from the arc, but will also help with steals on the other side of the ball.
Eric GordonHOU3Gordon will still have a big role leading the second unit and when Harden is out of the game, Gordon will get a lot of those shots and he's been driving more this season and can help the team run.
Gary HarrisDEN3Harris is over his shoulder injury and his long-range shooting has improved and is getting more minutes. He'll mainly produce by scoring from mid and long-range and gets more shots w/ Paul Millsap out.
Donovan MitchellUT3Mitchell's driving continues to improve as the season continues and he gets a secure amount of playing time and has taken advantage of Joe Johnson being out and Ricky Rubio hesitates to shoot.
Justin HolidayCHI3Holiday lives and dies by his shot and is turning into more of a three-point shooting dependant player unlike earlier in the season when he provided the Bulls with more all-around production.

Small Forwards

NAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
LeBron JamesCLE4James takes the top spot with the full slate this week and the Cavs have needed him to take care of most of the possessions on offense and he continues to use his body to drive more than shoot.
Kevin DurantGSW4Durant: Still dealing with Ankle issues and could sit another game tonight versus Sacramento.
Jimmy ButlerMIN4Butler will mainly score in the teens this season, but will always play deep into games as the Timberwolves best perimeter defender and will grab boards, steals and blocks for owners.
Robert CovingtonPHI4Covington has been shooting the ball well and has been utilizing his post game in the high post. He's been grabbing boards and helping out with steals on defense. If Ben Simmons is out, he benefits.
Evan FournierORL4Fournier continues to be the top shooting option for the Magic and finds openings around the arc off of screens. Fournier will look to draw contact if the lane is open, but will shoot mainly from long-range.
Paul GeorgeOKC3George moves down a few places due to lack of full slate, but he's been more involved in the Thunder's offense than I thought he would be. He's commanding the ball this season than last season in Indiana.
Brandon IngramLAL4Ingram has had his impact games and quiet games throughout the season, but his perimeter defense has been very consistent and will help out with steals. Ingram's long-range shooting will improve.
Kyle AndersonSAS4Anderson has been excellent filling in for Kawhi Leonard. Not only has he been shooting well from long-range, but he's been pulling down boards and even fighting in the lane.
Wesley JohnsonLAC4Johnson has come on strong lately filling in for the injured Danilo Gallinari and he's been helpful with scoring, rebounding and steals. Johnson should still be given love in the rotation even when Gallinari returns.
Otto Porter Jr.WSH3Porter will see more usage with John Wall out and will get more three-point shooting opportunities as the Wizards will be running a lot less until Wall returns. He'll still help with boards and steals.
Harrison BarnesDAL3Barnes continues to get the most time with the ball and see's more success attack the rim than shooting. His defense is suffocating and will continue playing deep into games.
DeMarre CarrollBKN3Carroll will see more time with the ball thus getting more shots with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson hurt and he'll produce from mid and long-range and grab long rebounds. The Nets are hurting.
TJ WarrenPHX3With Booker limping around and unable to move at full speed, Warren will have to attack the rim more and be there to keep plays alive for the Suns. We all know he can shoot from distance.
Will BartonDEN3Barton will see more breathing room as other Nuggets forwards will have to fill in for Paul Millsap. Barton will continue scoring in double figures and pulling down rebounds. His perimeter defense has improved.
Joe InglesUT3Ingles will be the ultimate bailout option for the Jazz. He's been one of the NBA's best outside shooters for the last couple of years. Ingles will help with steals and grab a few long-rebounds.
Trevor ArizaHOU3Ariza's minutes will always be safe because he plays incredible defense and can always be relied on for long rebounds and steals. Ariza is used as the Rockets bailout option and will hit long-range jumpers.
Courtney LeeNY3Lee's defense has kept his playing time secure. The Knicks utilize him in pick and pop situations and he gets a lot of three-point shots. He'll help with steals and rebounding.
Denzel ValentineCHI3Valentine is starting to get more playing time because his outside shooting has been on lately. When Zach LaVine eventually returns he'll be fighting for minutes, but for now he's safe.
Rodney HoodUT3Hood continues to get a lot of shots in the Jazz offense and he rotates nicely on defense to keep the perimeter secure. He's very scoring dependant and will not step inside the arc as much.
Bojan BogdanovicIND3

Bogdanovic should see a little more usage with Victor Oladipo huring, even if he plays. Bogdanovic see's open jumpers and benefits from Thad Young's constant attacking causing defenses to collapse.

Power Forwards

NAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
Giannis AntetokounmpoMIL3Even without a full slate of games, Antetokounmpo provides a ton of production in all areas and he'll continue having his way mving inside and outside on and off the ball.
Blake GriffinLAC4Wesley Johnson's mid-range ability has allowed Griffin to stay on the block and play predominantly inside. Griffin is tough to defend in the lane and has a lot of post moves and pulls down a lot of boards.
Anthony DavisNO3Davis continues to produce at a high level playing alongside DeMarcus Cousins and it's kept the ball mainly in the front court. He'll help in just about every category at a high level.
Ben SimmonsPHI4Simmons: He's not fully over his Elbow injury and could be out tonight versus Cleveland.
LaMarcus AldridgeSAS4Aldridge continues to produce a ton from both the arc and the low block. He's become the focus of the Spurs offense and he's been a consistent rebounder this season.
Aaron GordonORL4Gordon continues to shoot the ball better and more importantly, he fights for rebounds in the lane. Gordon drives the lane with force and will help out with steals on the perimeter. His agility has improved.
Tobias Harris DET4Harris continues to either shoot from the top of the key, or attack down the middle and he continues to utilize his one-handed moves in the lane.
Larry Nance Jr. LAL4Nance Jr. returns from his Hand injury this week and is expected to return to the starting lineup. Nance mainly produces in the paint, scoring from right under the basket and pulling down boards.
Kyle KuzmaLAL4Even though Kuzma will return to the bench, he'll be the Lakers high-energy player off the bench and take advantage of most of the league's second units in the paint and on the glass.
Draymond GreenGSW4Green: Dealing with a minor Foot injury and is currently questionable to play tonight versus Sacramento
James JohnsonMIA4Johnson has been playing like the Johnson from last season and will continue to see a lot of playing time because his defense is needed. He'll score in the post and grab rebounds on offense and defense.
Taj GibsonMIN4Gibson simply needs 20 minutes to put up a solid stat-line with points and rebounds. Gorgui Dieng has seen fewer minutes because of Gibson's effectivness on both sides of the ball. He'll continue to start.
Kristaps PorzingisNY3Porzingis: Dealing with back tightness that kept him out in his last game and it is possible that he can miss tonight's game versus Portland
Carmelo AnthonyOKC3Anthony is over his back issues and has been shooting the ball well, as always, from mid and long-range and he'll continue to give owners mainly points as he doesn't attack the inside as much this season.
Julius RandleLAL4Randle's will be fighting for minutes and will see some time at Center in the Lakers second unit, but it's no secret that both Nance Jr. and Kuzma have made more of an impact this season.
Zach RandolphSAC4Randolph has been shooting the ball a lot better lately and he's been getting more time with the ball to create. Randolph will always help rebound on both sides of the ball.
Rudy GaySAS4Gay has been a tad inconsistent and he's been utilized more as a PF and assignments in the paint on defense will be a lot tougher, but he'll still grab boards and score in double figures.
Thaddeus YoungIND3If Oladipo misses time this week, Young will see more time with the ball to attack and create in the lane. He plays good defense on and off the ball and will help with boards and steals.
Jayson TatumBOS3Tatum is moving on the court better as his Rookie season continues and is seeing more openings in the paint and has been keeping plays alive for the Celtics. His minutes are safe even with Marcus Morris back.
Derrick FavorsUT3

Favors will continue to play deep into games with Rudy Gobert sidelined. Most of Favors production will come from right under the basket and he'll help with scoring, boards and blocks.

Centers

NAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
Karl-Anthony TownsMIN4This was a tougher decision than I thought because Towns has the full slate, but Cousins continues to out-produce all Centers overall by a noticeable amount. Towns will help big-time with most categories.
DeMarcus CousinsNO3Cousins was still almost given the top spot because of how effective he's been on and off the ball. Cousins can even run the point, shoot from long-range and he helps a ton on the ball on defense.
Andre DrummondDET4Drummond continues to be suspect off the ball on defense, but he it's just so hard to box him out of the lane and he'll continue being one of the most dominant rebounders in the league.
Joel EmbiidPHI4Embiid would be even higher up this week if it wasn't for the paranoia that the Sixers could rest him in a back to back situation and he may end up missing a game this week.
Hassan WhitesideMIA4Whiteside continues to be one of the strongest attackers in the NBA and one of the fiercest defenders. He gives the Heat a ton of stength down-low and he'll help with blocks and steals.
Kevin LoveCLE4Love will continue to play mainly at Center with the Cavs hurting up front and he's been producing both from the post and long-range. Love continues to provide double-digit rebounding.
Nikola VucevicORL4Vucevic continues to use his fancy footwork in the post and see's a lot of success on the offensive glass because of how he positions himself in the paint. Expect a lot of double-doubles.
DeAndre JordanLAC4Jordan will be utilized the same way as always. He's alley-oop dependant as he can only score from right under the basket, but will continue to provide a ton of blocks and rebounds for owners.
Nikola JokicDEN3Jokic moves down because of the lack of full slate, but the Nuggets will need him to produce even more with Paul Millsap out for most of the season. Jokic is by far the top scoring weapon in Denver.
Pau Gasol SAS4Gasol continues to utilize his post-game and one-handed moves to score inside. He uses his reach in the paint to pull down boards. Even though he won't put up amazing stat-lines, he's still consistent.
Marc GasolMEM3Gasol moves down because of just having three games, but with Mike Conley out, he'll have the ball in his hands a lot more and his scoring, especially from long-range should see an uptick.
Brook LopezLAL4Lopez cannot be relied on for rebounding, but as always he'll score for owners and he's been the Lakers most reliable shooters this season and will continue to get fed outside the paint.
Clint CapelaHOU3Capela will continue being the Rockets best inside defender and we can expect double-digit rebounding in a good amount of games and he'll get plays called for him in the paint.
Al HorfordBOS3Horford's rebounding continues to be steady and as always, he's reliable from beyond the arc and has been helpful with blocks this season with hardly any competition to take minutes away from him.
Willie Cauley-SteinSAC4The consistent scoring is not there yet, but the playing time is and Cauley-Stein will also help owners with rebounding, steals and blocks. He mainly produces from the high-post.
Myles TurnerIND3Turner will continue seeing a lot of scoring opportunities from right under the basket and from long-range. Turner plays solid on the ball defense and will also be a huge blocks help to owners.
Steven AdamsOKC3Adams is healthy again from his Calf injury and he's playing in the 30's and helping a ton with inside scoring, rebounding and steals. He's one of the grittiest Center's in the league.
Enes KanterNY3Kanter: He's been deadling with Back spasms and has missed his previous two games and wants to give it a go tonight versus Portland, but has not been cleared. Status uncertain.
Jusuf NurkicPOR3Nurkic has had a strong season and has been very effective from the post and positioning himself inside to grab boards. He's gotten more plays called for him with Al-Farouq Aminu out.
Marcin GortatWSH3With John Wall out, the Wizards offense will move a bit slower and that should benefit Gortat. The offense will be working more at his pace and he'll get more time to set up and produce from the low-block.
