E. Bledsoe - SG
Eric Bledsoe shot 3-of-9 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz, posting a line of nine points, four rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes.
Bledsoe remained in the starting lineup Tuesday night, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker moving to the bench in order to free up a spot for Lonzo Ball. Neither Ball nor Bledsoe had good nights, but at least the latter was able to knock down a couple 3-pointers. Bledsoe, who had a Yahoo ADP of 78, still sits outside of the top-100 in both 8- and 9-cat formats. He’s worth hanging onto for the time being due to his being a starter, but Alexander-Walker has outplayed Bledsoe. It wouldn’t be all that surprising if Stan Van Gundy made a change to his starting five at some point.

N. Alexander-Walker - SG
Nickeil Alexander-Walker played 31 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz, finishing with nine points (4-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.
With Lonzo Ball back in the starting lineup following his return from knee tendinitis, Alexander-Walker returned to the second unit. But he still surpassed the 30-minute mark, which is good news when it comes to his fantasy value in the short-term. It’s worth noting that Ball was on a minutes restriction, which meant that Alexander-Walker wasn’t going to lose much in the way of playing time Tuesday night. Rostered in 22% of Yahoo leagues, Alexander-Walker has provided sixth-round value in both 8- and 9-cat formats over the last week. He stands to lose some minutes as Ball is cleared to play more, but NAW may be in the rotation to stay.

L. Ball - PG
Lonzo Ball played 23 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz, finishing with seven points (3-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), one rebound, four assists, three steals and one blocked shot.
Ball, who was on an unspecified minutes restriction, played in 5-to-6 minute stretches Tuesday night. Before the game, coach Stan Van Gundy said that his fourth quarter minutes would be based in part on how Ball was feeling. He didn’t appear to show any ill effects, which is good news for the point guard moving forward. New Orleans will play Utah again on Thursday, so we’ll have to wait and see if Ball’s limit is increased. He shot 0-of-6 from three Tuesday, a step back for a player who entered the game making just over two per game.

R. Gobert - C
Rudy Gobert posted a line of 13 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-6 FTs), 18 rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocked shots in 30 minutes Tuesday vs. the Pelicans.
Gobert dominated his matchup with Steven Adams, and he finished the game one rebound shy of his season-high (January 10 vs. Detroit). The negative for Gobert, both in Tuesday’s game and the season as a whole, has been his free throw shooting. He was 1-of-6 from the stripe on Tuesday, and for the season he’s making just 46.7% of his attempts. Fantasy managers who have Gobert rostered will either need to punt free throws, as he’s averaging just over five attempts per game, or hope that other players on their rosters will pick up the slack.
Added 12:04 am (EST)
J. Clarkson - SG
Jordan Clarkson played 29 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pelicans, tallying 18 points (6-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, six assists and four 3-pointers.
The return of Joe Ingles didn’t have much of an impact on Clarkson’s opportunities; he’s going to get his looks no matter who’s on the court with him. He has now scored 16 points or more in seven of ten games this month, and over the last two weeks Clarkson has rested safely within the top-50 in both 8- and 9-cat formats. Yet he’s rostered in 73% of Yahoo leagues. If he is somehow available in your league, do not hesitate to pick him up.

J. Ingles - SF
In his first game back from a sore right Achilles, Joe Ingles played 19 minutes and finished with 15 points (5-of-6 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, one block and five 3-pointers.
All six of Ingles’ field goal attempts were 3-pointers, and he managed to make a season-high five on the night. In six games this month he’s shooting 15-of-31 from three, and Ingles has scored 11 points or more in four of those outings. "We’ve been pretty open in saying it's the way we always want to play,” Ingles said when asked about his and Utah’s 3-point shooting (the Jazz made 21 3-pointers) on Tuesday. “… It was fun to be back out there, and I'm just glad we won, to be honest.” Rostered in 27% of Yahoo leagues, Ingles isn’t a great fantasy option, but he can change that with more performances like the one he put forth Tuesday night.

I. Roby - PF
Isaiah Roby had a decent showing on Tuesday, posting 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four steals in 26 minutes.
Roby had a decent game despite shooting 3-of-9, but Nikola Jokic was feasting on him and head coach Mark Daigneault commented on the matchup after the game, "It's just another really good experience for him. Obviously, it's a tough cover right now, but I don't think it's a long-term tough cover for him... I was pleased with how he played." The nine rebounds matched a season-high for Roby and the four steals were the most he's had through 13 games as he filled in nicely for Al Horford (personal) who was out again.
Added 12:00 am (EST)
D. Mitchell - SG
Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz past the Pelicans with a line of 28 points (9-of-15 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
The only negative for Mitchell on this night was the turnover count, as he was responsible for a team-high five. And turnovers are what have held him back in fantasy hoops, with Spida sitting just inside the top-75 in 9-cat. In 8-cat formats he’s threatening top-50 status, which still doesn’t hit his Yahoo ADP (25). If Mitchell is to be the top-25 player that fantasy managers expect him to be, he will need to be a more efficient player. Tuesday’s 9-of-15 effort from the field was good, but the five turnovers negated that.
