Dwight Powell (ruptured right Achilles tendon) says that he currently has no restriction of movement as he continues the recovery process.
Powell, who suffered the season-ending injury in January, also said that if the Mavericks were to scrimmage today he would be able to participate. When he would be afforded the opportunity to test out the Achilles in a "live" scenario remains up in the air however, as the NBA has not set a start date for next season (mid-January being the earliest scenario). In 40 games Powell posted averages of 9.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, providing 12th-round value in nine-cat formats and 14th-round value in eight-cat (punting turnovers). Even with the injury he's worth picking in the latter rounds, especially in deeper leagues. Oct 08 2:27 pm (EST)
