Terrence Ross shot 5-of-11 with three 3-pointers on Saturday, scoring 13 points with six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes off Orlando's bench.
D.J. Augustin chipped in 15 points and three dimes but the second unit's efforts weren't enough to avoid a 118-104 loss in Game 5. Ross again flirted with top-100 value this past season behind averages of 14.7 points, 2.6 triples, 3.2 boards, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and just 1.0 turnover per game on 40.3% FGs and 85.3% FTs. He was far better after the break, though, putting in 19.3 points per game with 3.7 threes per game (43.1% from deep). He’s not a league-winning kind of player, but when you need some points and triples towards the back of your draft, he’s your guy. Aug 29 6:46 pm (EST)
