Markieff Morris made all four of his three-point attempts in Saturday’s win over Houston, finishing with 16 points (6-of-7 FGs), three rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes.
Making his second start of the series, Morris was far more productive in Game 5 than he was in Game 4. The 16 points match his high for this postseason, a number that Morris hit in the Lakers’ Game 2 win over the Rockets. It’s unlikely that he’ll be in the starting lineup for the conference finals, as both the Clippers (Ivica Zubac) and Nuggets (Nikola Jokic) start traditional centers. But Morris should still factor into the rotation given the perimeter shooting that he brings to the table. Sep 12 10:42 pm (EST)
