Kevon Looney underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a core muscle injury.
The 2019-20 season was an injury-filled campaign for Looney, and he was ruled out for three weeks back on Mar. 7. The Warriors are out of the playoff chase and their season is likely over, so it makes sense for Looney to get his offseason program started. Prior to 2019-20, coach Steve Kerr had very high hopes for Looney, so maybe he can make an impact next year. He'll likely have to beat out Marquese Chriss and whoever else the Warriors add.
