De'Anthony Melton had a solid line vs. the Hawks on Monday with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals and one triple in 24 minutes while keeping Trae Young in check on defense.
He was well on his way to a big line but the Grizzlies pulled the plug early in what ended up being a 39-point win. After showing us some monster per-minute upside earlier this season Melton didn't take advantage of his bump in minutes because his shooting trailed off in recent weeks, hitting 32% from the field in his last 12 games. There's still plenty of opportunity in Memphis for Melton to make some noise with the team so shorthanded, and since we know the counting stat upside is there, he'll be a solid pickup if his shots start falling.
