Point Guards
RANK | NAME | Team | # of Games | Analysis |
1 | Chris Paul | HOU | 4 | The Rockets high octane offense continues to run through Paul. James Harden always gets his stats and shots (as expected), but he's been dropping 8.5 dimes per game and scoring 19.2. |
2 | Damian Lillard | POR | 4 | Lillard continues providing owners with scoring, boards, assists and steals and the Blazers offense always runs through him because their forwards aren't consistent enough. |
3 | Russell Westbrook | OKC | 3 | Westbrook has been providing 10.3 assists per game and even though his scoring has dropped since last season, he still grabs 9.4 boards per game and helps with steals. |
4 | Stephen Curry | GSW | 3 | Curry has been a more dominant scorer than Westbrook this season. Curry grabs boards, steals and compiles a lot of assists as well. Westbrook still has him in non-scoring categories. |
5 | Kemba Walker | CHA | 4 | Will Walker be traded? Was it just a rumor? Walker has looked like he's been playing with a purpose since those reports came out and he's been a helpful scorer and disher. |
6 | Dennis Schroder | ATL | 4 | Schroder continues to be the top option for a team playing for ping pong balls and even when he's not shooting well, he's grown enough to know when to lean on the drive and dish. |
7 | Elfrid Payton | ORL | 4 | With Aaron Gordon hurt, Payton is going to have to drive more with the ball. He has the quickness and never fears drawing contact. Expect him to take more shots this week. |
8 | Darren Collison | IND | 4 | Collison continues to get his piece of the offensive pie in Indiana and because of the health of Myles Turner, he's been able to carve out a bigger role on offense while still contributing assists. |
9 | Kyrie Irving | BOS | 4 | He's missed his last two games with a Quad injury and his status is up in the air for the week. |
10 | Kyle Lowry | TOR | 3 | Lowry owners can use a little more scoring out of him, but he's grabbing just under six boards a game and that's made up for lower scoring games. |
11 | Dennis Smith Jr. | DAL | 4 | Smith's shot is still developing, but his drive down the middle is lethal and he's become the second scoring option for the Mavs and he'll help with boards and assists. |
12 | Ricky Rubio | UT | 4 | Rubio has been attacking more and seeing more openings inside because the opposition needs to put a lot of focus on Donovan Mitchell. The more he drives, the more he'll score. |
13 | Rajon Rondo | NO | 4 | Rondo's assists shouldn't be depleted because of the DeMarcus Cousins injury as he'll look to feed Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis and Nikola Mirotic. Expect his rebounding numbers to climb. |
14 | Terry Rozier | BOS | 4 | Rozier has filled in and started with Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart and Shane Larkin hurt and he's been helpful with points, boards and dimes and deserves to keep his spot in the rotation. |
15 | Tomas Satoransky | WSH | 4 | Satoransky has seen a major production increase with John Wall out of the lineup and he's been helpful with scoring and dimes. |
16 | Eric Bledsoe | MIL | 3 | Bledsoe should see a few more weeks as the third scoring option as Jabari Parker chizzles his way back in the lineup. Luckily for him, Malcolm Brogdon is out and he'll need to play more. |
17 | Goran Dragic | MIA | 3 | The All-Star will be needed more this week with Hassan Whiteside sick. Expect more scoring this week from Dragic, especially if he needs to miss a game. |
18 | Spencer Dinwiddie | BKN | 3 | D'Angelo Russell is still on a minutes restriction and Dinwiddie is still producing. Expect minutes to still remain in the late-20's even when Russell has no restrictions. |
19 | Jeff Teague | MIN | 3 | Teague's Knee injury is behind him, but he's been rusty shooting from the field. His assist numbers are still consistent and owners can expect him to grab a lot of steals. |
20 | Jamal Murray | DEN | 3 | Murray is more of a shoot-first PG and he's been scoring consistently in double figures and he's helpful to a lesser extent with boards and assists. |

4 | Jrue Holiday | NO | 4 | Cousins being out the rest of the way makes Holiday the second scoring option and he won't see as much pressure even without Cousins because Mirotic will need to be watched. |
5 | CJ McCollum | POR | 4 | McCollum is still the second scoring option on a team in which the back court handles most of the offense. He'll help with steals and have his big assist games. Expect mainly scoring. |
