Fantasy football might be over for the casual players. But dynasty fantasy football never sleeps. The offseason is loaded with catalysts that can affect the dynasty landscape from the 2026 NFL Combine to free agency to the draft. So it’s our job to stay on top of the NFL news and rumors with our dynasty fantasy football rankings to make sure we are putting ourselves in the best position to succeed

Dynasty Rankings Overview: What To Expect In 2026

This year, we are starting early with our dynasty fantasy football rankings to make sure we stay ahead of the curve. So we’re updating all four major positions at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end now in January. Then we will continue to update them along the way as we hit each major milestone along the way that could change the values of these players.

Dynasty Quarterback Rankings

Here’s how we look at the current dynasty quarterback rankings landscape. Keep in mind that, in single quarterback leagues, upside actually becomes MORE important than it is in superflex. There are plenty of viable options that offer floor, but only so many with true different making upside. So prioritize rushing quarterbacks and/or the guys capable of throwing 40+ TD passes.

Dynasty Running Back Rankings

Running backs are the currency of dynasty fantasy football. No other position is more important to winning your league. But no other position ages as quickly either. They are the most important position to trade for if you are competing now and trade away if you are playing for the future. Here’s how we view the landscape.

Dynasty Wide Receiver Rankings

Wide receivers are your “old reliable” position in dynasty. The upside can be high, but unlike running back, the age apex is a little bit later, letting them retain value longer. Teams also deploy multiple wide receivers, so the value doesn’t vary as wildly as it does at the other position. Investing in WR is always a solid long-term plan. And you probably need multiple great ones with the new, deeper formats folks are playing these days.

Dynasty Tight End Rankings

Tight end is the trickiest position in dynasty. There’s no doubt about it. It’s not just about talent, as you need the scheme and opportunity as well. The S.O.R.T. System (Start Opportunity, Roster Talent) becomes much more important here. You want as many talented guys on your roster as possible, but you need to start players with opportunity NOW if you are competing to win.
