2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Oronde Gadsden II had an efficient rookie season in just 15 games, catching 49 passes for 664 yards and three touchdowns while posting an excellent 13.6 yards per reception, one of the best marks among tight ends with significant volume. He averaged 7.1 fantasy points per game and showed real big-play ability for a rookie at the position.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Gadsden is consensus TE19 entering his second NFL season in a Chargers offense getting a scheme change under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. His big-play efficiency as a rookie is the most exciting part of his profile, and McDaniel's track record of getting creative with tight end usage bodes well for a Year 2 step forward. He is a sleeper candidate worth a late-round pick with real upside if Justin Herbert stays healthy behind an improved offensive line.
