2025 Season Recap
Chris Olave had a career season in 2025, catching 100 passes for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. Totaling 219.0 fantasy points over 16 games, he built immediate chemistry with Tyler Shough after the rookie took over mid-season. He closed the year with three straight 85-plus yard games before a blood clot prematurely ended his campaign. He reminded everyone that when healthy, he is one of the best pure route runners in football.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Olave is the consensus WR11 and one of our favorite value plays in the draft. He landed a four-year, $132 million extension in August, showing that the Saints are confident in his health despite his concussion history and recent blood clot. Rookie Jordyn Tyson was expected to challenge for targets but is now slated to miss the first two months with a hamstring injury. This raises Olave's floor immensely, as he is unquestionably New Orleans' WR1 with zero real competition. He is worth picking aggressively given Kellen Moore's creative play-calling.
