2025 Season Recap
Bryce Young had his best NFL season in 2025 and it was not particularly close. He threw for a career-high 23 touchdown passes, led Carolina to the NFC South title for the first time in a decade, and delivered six game-winning drives. The late-season stretch was particularly impressive: eight touchdown passes and just two interceptions in six games. He looked like a different quarterback down the stretch.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Young is the consensus QB26 and there is a real growth story here worth paying attention to. The late-season efficiency was genuine and the Panthers exercised his fifth-year option because they believe in the trajectory. The ceiling, though, has a real ceiling. His 6.3 yards per attempt has never budged across three seasons, and there are physical limitations in his deep ball that probably keep him out of the elite tier. Best-case scenario, he repeats his 2025 touchdown rate with more volume and finishes as a low-end QB2. More likely, he is a streamer with upside in favorable matchups. Worth a thirteenth-round shot in deeper leagues.
