2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Travis Kelce had a solid age-36 season in 2025, catching 76 passes for 851 yards and five touchdowns across all 17 games before Patrick Mahomes went down with a torn ACL and LCL in Week 15. He averaged 9.1 fantasy points per game and remained a key safety valve in the Kansas City offense, showing the future Hall of Famer still has plenty left even as the offense around him evolves.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Kelce is the consensus TE10, and at 36 years old entering 2026, the obvious question is how much longer this can continue. The good news is that Mahomes appears ahead of schedule in his recovery and is expected back for Week 1, which restores the connection that has made Kelce fantasy-relevant for over a decade. The Chiefs have also signaled a more run-heavy approach with Kenneth Walker now in the backfield, which could reduce overall passing volume. He is a steady TE1-caliber floor play in the ninth round or so, but the ceiling is more capped than it once was.
