2023 Player Outlook
John Metchie has had a rough two seasons after tearing his ACL in the 2021 SEC Championship game and then being diagnosed with leukemia that kept him out the entirety of 2022. This season, he has a clean bill of health and will return to the field, but after missing two seasons, he'll have some rust to shake off. He's currently listed as the WR3 on the Texans' depth chart, but if he progresses in his first real season, he has the opportunity to move up.
