Welcome to the DFS Example Lineups for NFL Week 17!
SUNDAY MORNING NOTES:
Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (back) is not expected to play in Week 17. This affects Ezekiel Elliott 's value this week, so if you were looking to pay up, you may need to pivot. Check the Playbook for late adds.
Browns WR Odell Beckham is expected to play in Week 17 against the Bengals.
Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) is being called a true game-time decision, but keep in mind, the team has already promoted Drew Anderson from the practice squad and Brett Hundley has been working with the first-team all week.
The Texans are sitting Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins . Will Fuller , Laremy Tunsil , and Bradley Roby are also sitting so that should tell you all you need to know about using the Titans this week.
The Ravens are sitting Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown for Week 17. They join Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram among other Ravens starters, on the bench.
Patriots RB Sony Michel has some sort of an illness and has been downgraded to questionable for Week 17. It sounds like he's got Joe Mixon 's bubble gut which will make Rex Burkhead an interesting cheap option. Check out the Dart Board.
The Raiders have officially ruled out RB Josh Jacobs .
The Jaguars have downgraded RB Leonard Fournette to doubtful. Some will turn to Ryquell Armstead as a cheap option, but I just don't like the Jags at all. Doug Marrone will be fired and no one on this team cares anymore.
**ALWAYS check the Playbook for late changes and updates
**ALWAYS check the inactives page before finalizing your lineups
Just a few notes here about the lineups below...
The cash lineups were built solely off the players I put in the Playbook. These are the guys who, unless I have indicated otherwise, offer up the higher floor and will help you cash in your Double-Ups and 50/50s. For GPP tournaments, particularly the large-field ones, you need to find alternative routes to the cash line. I will utilize players from the Playbook and the DFS Dart Board to fill in the gaps, but what I am looking for are some lower-owned stacks that make sense based on expected game flow and other news. As you will see in this week's GPP lineups, there are some names I haven't discussed this week on the site, but have talked about during the week on the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. You will also notice, though, that others on the site have mentioned some of these players, so it's not like we're trying to hide anything from you.
Rain is supposed to start falling an hour before kickoff of the Giants/Eagles game and carry straight through the game. That does not bode well for the passing attack of either team.
Rain all day in Cincinnati. Heavy right around kickoff and then expected to carry through all game.
Other places with potential rain include: Buffalo (vs NYJ), Baltimore (PIT) and Carolina (NO)
Potential GPP Stacks I may be using this week (with players coming back):
Game Stacks:
Atlanta Falcons -- Matt Ryan /Julio Jones , Austin Hooper (Perriman)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Jameis Winston /Ronald Jones /Breshad Perriman or Winston/Perriman/Justin Watson or O.J. Howard (Julio or Hooper)
Kansas City Chiefs -- Mahomes/Damien Williams /Tyreek Hill or Travis Kelce or Mahomes/Hill/Kelce (Ekeler)
Los Angeles Chargers -- Philip Rivers /Austin Ekeler /Keenan Allen or Hunter Henry (Williams or Hill or Kelce)
Philadelphia Eagles -- Wentz/Sanders/Goedert (Barkley or tate or Shepard)
New York Giants -- Daniel Jones/Barkley/Tate or Shepard (Goedert)
Potential Low-Owned Stacks:
Indianapolis Colts -- Brissett/Mack/Hilton (Chark)
New Engalnd Patriots -- Tom Brady /Burkhead or White/Edelman or Harry (Parker)
Green Bay Packers -- Aaron Rodgers /Aaron Jones /Davante Adams (Golladay)
Again, these lineups are meant to serve as examples for you. A sounding board if you will. They are not meant for you to plug in as your own. That's the lazy way and we don't condone it. We are trying to teach you how to be a better DFS player; we aren't lineup-sellers. You should be creating your own lineups using all the information we provide you throughout the week and then coming here to see if there is anything you may have missed or simply for an alternative perspective.
**EXAMPLE LINEUPS WILL BE POSTED APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE FIRST SUNDAY KICKOFF**
