Elliott ran for 111 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries during Sunday's game against Washington. He also caught two passes for nine additional yards in the 31-21 win.
After playing in a somewhat limited capacity during the season opener, Elliott took on his usual workhorse role in this one and responded by averaging 4.8 yards per carry against a solid Redskins front. He took a backseat to the passing offense at times in the red zone but topped his day off with a short rushing score in the fourth quarter. Now back up to speed along with what looks like an elite offense, Elliott is primed for a big game next Sunday at home against an abysmal Dolphins team. Sep 15 4:29 pm (EST)
- Elliott is prepared for more touches Week 2 in Washington, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. "I think I'm ready now for a normal workload. Just depends on how (running backs coach Gary Brown) and Kellen (Moore) and coach (Jason) Garrett are feeling on Sunday," Elliott said. "But if they ask me, I'll be able to go out there and do it."
- Elliott carried the ball 13 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 35-17 win over the Giants.
- Elliott is expected to receive around 20-to-25 snaps in Sunday's game against the Giants, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Meanwhile, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports that Elliott is expecting to handle a "normal" workload in Week 1. All Ezekiel Elliott News
