2025 Season Recap
Daniel Jones was having a career-best fantasy season in 2025 before his Achilles snapped in Week 14. Through 13 games he threw for 3,101 yards with 19 touchdowns and 8 interceptions while adding rushing production that gave him a real dual-threat floor. He was tracking as a borderline QB1 at the time of the injury. Indianapolis liked what they saw enough to sign him to a two-year, $88 million extension, which tells you everything about how the organization felt about him.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Jones is the consensus QB25 and the Achilles recovery is the only thing holding him back from being a more interesting fantasy target. Before the injury, he was delivering QB2-level production with a rushing floor that pure pocket passers cannot match. The question heading into training camp is how much that mobility comes back, because it is the part of his game that makes him fantasy-relevant. If he is healthy and moving well, he has legitimate upside in Indianapolis with Jonathan Taylor in the backfield. Watch the injury reports through August before committing. This one is a summer decision.
