NFL Week 13 Sunday is here which means it's time to start building some winning DFS lineups? Everything you need is right here on Fantasy Alarm. You've got all the relevant news from late Saturday and this morning below, including any relevant NFL weather reports, and then we start to dive into the stacks and everything else you need to crush this week. Are you ready? Have you read through all of this week's content – the NFL DFS Playbook, the DFS Coaches, the WR/CB Report, and watched this week's DFS Show? Great. We've got a very interesting 10-game slate to work with as there are much fewer marquee players we feel compelled to jam into our lineups. As a result, the prices are pretty constrictive for guys like Jonathan Taylor and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, so your roster construction is going to have to be on-point. Fortunately, I'm feeling really good about this week's Playbook and Dart Board, so let's get to it!
Just a few notes here about the lineups below...
The cash lineups were built solely off the players I put in the DFS Playbook. These are the guys who, unless I have indicated otherwise, offer up the higher floor and will help you cash in your Double-Ups and 50/50s. For GPP tournaments, particularly the large-field ones, you need to find alternative routes to the cash line. I will utilize players from the Playbook and the DFS Dart Board to fill in the gaps, but what I am looking for are some lower-owned stacks that make sense based on expected game flow and other news.
You may also see in the GPP lineups, there may be some names I haven't discussed this week on the site, but have talked about during the week on the Fantasy Alarm Show or even on the Fantasy Alarm Sunday Gameday Show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. You will also notice, though, that others on the site have mentioned some of these players in places such as the position coaches, so it's not like we're trying to hide anything from you. The only time, and I mean the only time you will see a player in a GPP lineup who hasn't been discussed is if we are using a stack and need a player from the other team coming back. Sometimes, correlation is needed.
Again, these lineups are meant to serve as examples for you; a sounding board, as I said. They are not meant for you to plug in as your own. That's the lazy way and we don't condone it. We are trying to teach you how to be a better DFS player; we aren't lineup-sellers. You should be creating your own lineups using all the information we provide you throughout the week and then coming here to see if there is anything you may have missed or simply for an alternative perspective.
PLAYBOOK CHANGES & LINEUP NOTES:
The following players have been added to the DFS Playbook --
- Christian McCaffrey, RB SF
- Quinshon Judkins, RB CLE
- Darren Waller, TE MIA
Given the increasing weather issues for SF/CLE and ATL/NYJ, I am gong to be off the passing games in both. There weren't a lot of pass-catchers from those games to begin with and I'm not going to remove them because they were short-passing players anyway, but I will not be building many lineups, if any, with them included. Running games are a full-go.
Waller is being added bcause reports that I am seeing have stated he will return to his usual snap-share. If that's the case, then it's wheels-up in this match-up against the Saints. They need a second pass-catcher and that should be a heavy look in Waller's directions. He's also mad-cheap on FanDuel.
Best of luck to you this week and let's make some money!
SUNDAY MORNING NOTES:
According to Adam Schefter:
Bucs QB Baker Mayfield, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a left shoulder injury, is expected to play vs. the Cardinals
Vikings elevated QB John Wolford to be a backup quarterback for Sunday’s game in Seattle.
Bucs RB Bucky Irving, listed as questionable for Sunday due to shoulder and ankle injuries, is expected to play vs. the Cardinals for the first time since Week 4, per source. Bucs don’t want to overdo it with Irving, but he will get his touches.
Cardinals RB Bam Knight, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Bucs
Seahawks signed running back Myles Gaskin from the practice squad to their 53-man roster.
Saints expect WR Chris Olave, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a back injury, to play vs. the Dolphins
Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an illness, is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers
Titans WR Elic Ayomanor, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, is expected to play vs. the Jaguars
Colts now have added TE Tyler Warren to their injury report due to an illness and he is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Dolphins activated TE Darren Waller off injured reserve.
Titans TE Chig Okonkwo, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a foot injury, is expected to play vs. the Jaguars
With Dalton Kincaid listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, the Bills elevated TE Keleki Latu to their active roster for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers.
OTHER NFL NEWS:
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Cardinals.
ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss reports there’s a “solid chance” Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison (illness) plays in Week 13 against the Buccaneers.
WEATHER REPORT:
**courtesy of Kevin Roth
JAC/TEN -- A chance for rain, though it looks right now like the better rain chances are pregame, not in-game.
SF/CLE -- A decent chance for some rain plus some potent winds. Right now models are showing sustained winds around 20mph, gusts pushing around 35mph. Those numbers may go up or down a hair, but we may end up in a spot that makes deeper throws and kicks more difficult.
LAR/CAR -- Decent chance for some rain here, will need to monitor radar pregame to nail down the impacts.
ATL/NYJ -- Rain looks fairly likely, winds around 10-15mph with stronger gusts.
NO/MIA -- A shower or spotty downpour is possible, but the coverage isn't all that impressive, and we're likely either dry here or mostly-dry. Winds hold around 10mph.
BUF/PIT -- A chance for some rain showers, winds around 10mph sustained. Like all of these "possible rain-games", we'll need to circle back closer to the game and see how things look.
GPP STACKS:
As a reminder, when you're stacking in GPP, you always want to run someone back from the opposing team. One-sided games often turn to a running back seeing higher-than-usual volume or the back-ups start to play. For a stack to really pop, the other team needs to keep things competitive.
