So close to a profitable day with Sunday’s NBA predictions and props, but yet so far. Victor Wembanyama was as great as ever, and an easy successful bet. The Phoenix Suns lost to the New Orleans Pelicans, and Jusuf Nukic’s prop did not get off the hook. Grayson Allen did successfully make three three-point attempts, and -166 cashing is better than a losing +230 bet.

The Los Angeles Lakers played without LeBron James, and Anthony Davis exited with an injury. This left D’Angelo Russell as the Lakers primary scorer against the best defense in the Association. Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets stated he should do well as the third scorer of the team, but the bet did not plan him on being the first option.

He made just five of 19 field goal attempts, which equates to shooting 26.3%. If he would have made six of 19 field goal attempts, we would have been looking at Meat Loaf. However if ‘ifs’ were fifths, we would all be drunk… Such is betting, though.

There are 14 games today, and all but two teams are playing. The amazing fact about today’s game is that every game but the San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies has a direct impact on the NBA playoff seeding. What a day of basketball, and what a day for NBA betting!

Three bets with three with familiar names lead the way today. The great basketball continues in Arizona as Grayson Allen and the Phoenix Suns host the Los Angeles Clippers. We look for him to continue his amazing run of successful bets for Fantasy Alarm. Isaiah Hartenstein is playing against the Chicago Bulls for the second game in four days. It is at the United Center again, and we put down the same ticket that was successful four days ago.

The Bet of the Night comes from the San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies match, and it is on a player that has brought in several successful bets for our NBA picks articles. Victor Wembanyama looks to continue his late season dominance and we will place a wager on him.

NBA Predictions & Picks Today, 4/9

Victor Wembanyama Props: Over 11.5 Rebounds (-130 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

NBA Bet Of The Night - April 9th

Our guy, Victor Wembanyama, leads off another Bet of the Night. He has simply been amazing to us this year, winning at least 15 units – if not more – on the season. He has been one of the best players in the Association for the last three weeks, and that should continue against the Memphis Grizzlies. Although both teams are eliminated, the Memphis Grizzlies have been mentally checked out with so many injuries and a rough season.

Victor Wembanyama has been an absolute beast as he makes his bid for not only Rookie of the Year, but Defensive Player of the Year. His blocking line has been moved to 4.5, which is insanely high.

His rebounding line has stayed at or near 11.5 the last couple of weeks, and it is no different tonight. The NBA odds for this particular selection have juiced up to -130, but that is not enough to lay off of the line. He has safely covered this rebounding prop in four of his last five games.

He has an average of 10.7 rebounds per game, and the Memphis Grizzlies allow 53.7 rebounds per game to opposing teams. That is the third most in the Association, and they allow the second most rebounds to opposing power forwards. Wembanyama has an excellent opportunity to dominate this game. The Grizzlies have four of five starters listed as out and that does not include Ja Morant

Trust Victor Wembanyama to deliver in our NBA picks yet again against a banged-up Memphis Grizzlies

NBA Props & Best Bets Today, 4/9

Isaiah Hartenstein Props: Under 8.5 Rebounds (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

This exact bet was taken just four days ago in this NBA predictions piece, as Isaiah Hartenstein and the New York Knicks play the Chicago Bulls again. It was successful by two rebounds in that game and has another opportunity to be successful again.

At one point, Hartenstein was a great bet on his over rebounding line, but for the last month it has been wise to take the under on his prop. He is sharing more time with former starting center Mitchell Robinson. OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa have been playing well also, earning several rebounds.

In addition to that, the Chicago Bulls have two great rebounders in Nikola Vucevic and Andre Drummond. They are both bigger bodied than Hartenstein, and could overlap their playing time with him. DeMar DeRozen is also averaging 4.3 rebounds per game, as he’s attacking the glass more.

The Knicks and Bulls both could go back in the rankings, as the Knicks are in the jumbled middle of the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are only one game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks in the pivotal 9 vs. 10 play-in game. The ninth seed would earn a home game, improving their odds of making the playoffs. The Bulls have no desire to lose that home court advantage.

At the end of the day, Isaiah Hartenstein is not averaging enough (8.3 rebounds per game), he is not playing well enough (he’s covered just once in his last four games) and does not play enough minutes (he has not played over thirty minutes since February sixth) for this bet to have a good chance of going over against a good front court. Place the under as we look for this bet to cash again.

Grayson Allen Props: Over 2.5 Threes Made (-140 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

This has been one of the most successful NBA props and bets since the All-Star break. He doesn’t make it every game, but has made three or more threes on every bet Fantasy Alarm has placed on him. He has been a marvelous addition for the Phoenix Suns, and helped them with consistency.

He was mentioned just two days ago when the Suns hosted the New Orleans Pelicans. That bet was a Same Game Parlay, and Grayson Allen was the only successful wager as the Suns played their worst game in over a week.

Tonight, they host the fourth place Los Angeles Clippers, who have played much better in their two most recent games. It is a pivotal Western Conference seeding showdown, with just six days in the regular season remaining. If the Clippers win, they are guaranteed to escape the play-in, and with a Mavericks loss would clinch the fourth seed.

The Suns are in a much more slippery situation. They are currently sixth due to owning a slight tiebreaker over the Pelicans. They are only one game ahead of the Sacramento Kings who are in eighth place, and should the Suns lose, they could find themselves back in the play-in. The Lakers are only 1.5 games back from the Suns and that gap could shrink to 0.5 depending on scenarios.

So much is at stake for the Suns who could slip down three positions in the last week of the season. I say all that to say, Grayson Allen will be needed tonight. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are the Clippers two best starting defenders. Neither will be occupied with Allen as he stays posted behind the three-point line ready to score.

He attempted 10 threes against the Pelicans… 10! He has attempted 33 in his last four games, an average of over 8 per game. He has been a more reliable delivery than your mail person, and they never miss… Neither does Grayson Allen. Trust him to deliver once more for us as we build the bankroll.
