Meat Loaf was back on the menu Friday night, as two of the three bets were successful. Grayson Allen was first half cash, ringing true as a spot up three point scorer. Isaiah Hartenstein was safely under nine rebounds despite playing most of the fourth quarter. Domantas Sabonis fell three points short against the Boston Celtics in a marvelous game with a last second winner. Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play and the bet was voided, giving us a profit of 0.78 units.

There are thirteen games today, and all but four teams are in action. An excellent way to end the week, the only thing that can make it better is a profitable day. Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets has examined the lines, to find winning bets today.

There are three nationally televised games on NBATV today, and the late game (Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers) will have a prop bet in this Western Conference match. A Fantasy Alarm favorite, Victor Wembanyama, is back in the column again. The San Antonio Spurs host the Philadelphia 76ers and we ride the rookie for another victory. The Bet of the Night comes from the New Orleans Pelicans at Phoenix Suns, and it is a same game parlay.

First things first, there is (and has been) a daily DraftKings same game parlay insurance that can be utilized on any sport. It has been a promotion for over a month, but this column rarely suggests three leg parlays– which is the minimum amount for the insurance to be activated.

This bet should be successful, but if just one of the bets is incorrect, then the wager (up to $50) is given back as a free bet. A nice thing for draftkings to do. However, as stated this bet should be successful. It is a combination of Phoenix’s moneyline, Grayson Allen’s threes, and Jusuf Nurkic’s rebounds.

The Phoenix Suns destroyed the New Orleans Pelicans in their last match April first. They won 124-111, but this game was over after the first quarter. Since that match the Pelicans have not won a game, and the Suns have not lost a game. That should continue tonight as the Pelicans will be without their star, Brandon Ingram for at least two more games.

Grayson Allen is a Fantasy Alarm favorite, and we are going back to him for the second game in a row. He made four of eight attempts against the Minnesota Timberwolves two days ago, and attempted five against the Pelicans on the first. Allen has a forty-seven percent success rate from behind the arc this season, and should see at least five attempts tonight. His odds are at -166 to go over 2.5 threes, and it is not worth teasing down for the parlay.

Jusuf Nurkic continues his amazing season and has another great opportunity to get several rebounds tonight. In their last meeting he snagged nineteen rebounds. He has recorded forty four boards in three games played this month, and will play more minutes than Jonas Valanciunas. He is too big for Zion Williamson, and fifteen rebounds could be grabbed by the ten year veteran. This bet only needs eleven to be successful though.

Victor Wembanyama is wowing the entire league every game. He is something special and the progress from the end of the season to the beginning is a real credit to him, Coach Popovich, and the San Antonio Spurs organization. The unreal aspect is that he is only twenty years old, and will be growing mentally and physically for years to come.

Wembanyama has recorded fifty-six rebounds in his last four games played, that is an average of fourteen per game. The San Antonio Spurs are hosting the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at the AT&T Center, and Philadelphia allows the most rebounds to the power forward position. In addition to that Victor Wembanyama is making a great case for Defensive Player of the Year.

The Spurs have won four of their last five games, and their one loss was by only five points, at Ball Arena, in a tough match against the Denver Nuggets. No surprise Wembanyama has excelled in those games. He has played more minutes, scored more points, and rebounded better than his average.

The Philadelphia 76ers are on a four game win streak, tied for the longest in the Association. The Spurs are playing better than some playoff teams, and this should be a fantastic game. Joel Embiid versus Victor Wembanyama is a match that should bring out the best in each other. Trust the taller, younger center to earn twelve rebounds today.

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing in the second of back-to-back games tonight. It will be their second night against a playoff team as well, as the Minnesota Timberwolves play at Arena. The Timberwolves are currently 0.5 games behind first place and move into a tie with a win. This is an important game for the Timberwolves with only one more week in the regular season.

The Lakers have the longest winning streak in the Western Conference, and could move into seventh place with a win and New Orleans Pelicans loss. A large reason why they won the game last night was D’Angelo Russell. He scored twenty-eight points in a blowout victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, and could score that many against his former team tonight.

D. Russell has scored seventeen or more points four straight games, and six of his last seven games. He has been a much more reliable scorer since the All-Star break and is the third crucial scorer for the Lakers. When he has a good night, they win. This has been demonstrated by their four game win streak, and his four game streak of over seventeen points.

Rudy Gobert will be a tough match up for Anthony Davis and D. Russell will be asked to score more against a good defense. Although it is a good defense he could score twenty points, but we only need seventeen for this bet to be successful. He averages 18.3 points per game, and will score his average or more tonight.
