What I like to do every now and then is show how consistent or inconsistent players really are. As we all know, fantasy football is primarily a head to head matchup game and thus if your team isn't producing consistently high point totals, you are not going to win. Thus, digging deeper behind the scenes to uncover which players may not have the highest point totals at the end of the year but do post a good baseline of points every week can really help you out.

Here I review the top 24 fantasy QB's for the 2016 season. What I did is break down their TD pass totals by how many they threw in each game. What this does is show us how these QB's arrived at their final numbers. If you compare, you will see players with similar overall TD totals that got there in completely different ways. For instance, Kirk Cousins had 11 games of just one TD pass. If you dissect this even more you will notice that all 10 of those one TD performances came during the typical fantasy football regular season. The other was in the first week of the playoffs. Thus, teams that started Cousins all season did not win many games whatsoever.

Here is a closer look at the QB TD totals lasat season. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your comments at the bottom of this article, on our FAN Forums or hit me up on Twitter (@Jeff_Mans).
