2022 Player Outlook
With Allen Robinson mentally checked out in 2021, Darnell Mooney operated as the de facto WR1. On one hand, he got 140 targets which is all you can really ask for in fantasy football. On the other, he was fairly inefficient with them with a catch rate outside the top 70 WRs. When you get 140 targets, you should be finishing higher than WR23. They didn't add much in terms of weaponry so his success in 2022 will boil down to improving his connection with quarterback Justin Fields. It's worth noting that a lot of the best performances for Mooney actually came with Andy Dalton, not Fields.
