NBA Best Bets Today, 11/28: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Friday
After catching our breath from a day without the NBA it’s time to gear up for an action packed Friday. Fantasy Alarm went one of three on Wednesday’s bets. With Rudy Gobert able to grab over 10.5 rebounds at plus odds, the damage was under one unit. Miami did not win and did not cover up the teased team total, and the Detroit Pistons ended their thirteen game win streak.
There are eleven NBA Cup games today with several scenarios with teams playing in a clinching scenario. Two games are nationally televised on Amazon Prime, and will be featured in today’s best bets. The first of which takes place at the Mecca of basketball.

NBA Best Bets Today, 11/28: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Friday NBA Cup
Milwaukee Bucks vs New York Knicks: Friday 11/28
Game Time: 7:30 PM ET | TV: Amazon Prime | Location: Madison Square Garden | Odds: NYK -7.5 | O/U 234.5
The New York Knicks host the Milwaukee Bucks, and take center stage with the first nationally televised game. Madison Square Garden will be rocking, and Giannis Antetokounmpo has an opportunity to return after a long absence. The sportsbooks have the Knicks as favorites, and the Bucks scoring less than their season average of 115.8 points per game.
The line is set at 113.5 against a good defense, but New York still allows 114.3 points per game. A little less than their average. In addition to the numbers not adding up, it’s also the NBA Cup. Both teams are 2 - 1, and both teams have a 25 point differential. One more than the Detroit Pistons, and 8 fewer than the Cleveland Cavaliers. The winner must score more than Detroit, and outscore Cleveland by 8 points (should they win) in order to clinch the wild card spot.
The math is simple, and Milwaukee knows what is needed to keep Assistant Coach Darvin Ham’s undefeated NBA Cup record alive. He has won the two previous NBA Cups; one as the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, and one as an assistant with Milwaukee last year. Look for the Bucks to score more than 113.5 points with or without Antetokounmpo. Put a unit on this best bet today.Â

Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers: Friday 11/28
Game Time: 10:00 PM ET |Â TV:Â Amazon Prime |Â Location:Â Crypto .com Arena |Â Odds:Â LAL -10.5 | O/U: 231.5
- Prediction: Luka Doncic Over 33.5 Points (-109 DraftKings Sportsbook)Â
The Los Angeles Lakers have an opportunity to clinch West Group B with a victory. They would return back to the NBA Cup knockout stage, and have one of the highest scorers in the Association. Luka Doncic is averaging 35.2 points and is playing better than he has at any point in his NBA career. He’s the best player on a team with great players and the Lakers are currently the second best team in the Western Conference.
Doncic plays the Dallas Mavericks at home and the Mavericks allow 115.1 points per game. Look for him to score above his average and clear this point line against a team he knows all too well. He should once again shoulder the load for the Lakers offense, and win West Group B. Put a unit on this best bet today, and enjoy the late night game on Amazon Prime.

NBA Prop Bets Today, 11/28
- Kon Knueppel 20+ Points (+132 on FanDuel Sportsbook)
Kon Knueppel has been the biggest surprise of the season, and the rookie is playing lights out for the Charlotte Hornets. He is averaging 18.6 points per game, but has 28, 26, 28, and 24 in four of his last five games. His most recent match was his worst of the season, and the expectation is for a great bounce back game against the Chicago Bulls. Especially after a couple days' rest.
The Hornets are at home, and Brandon Miller inserted back into the lineup should help Knueppel with more open field goals. The Bulls allow 124.2 points per game, and in an NBA Cup game should allow more. Knueppel’s point line is set at 17.5 or 18.5 depending on the sportsbook. On FanDuel his alternate line of 20+ Points is at a fantastic +132. Put a unit on this rookie best bet today. For those new to FanDuel, make sure to take advantage of the promotional offer below.
- Tyrese Maxey Over 32.5 Points (-104 on FanDuel Sportsbook)Â
Tyrese Maxey has been a favorite of Fantasy Alarm this season, and we are back on his points again today. The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road against the Brooklyn Nets, and expected to win by -7.5 points. If they are going to cover the spread, Maxey must score around his average, which is 32.2 points per game.Â
The sportsbooks put the line at his average against a team that is 3 - 14 and allows 119.7 points per game. Even with the return of Paul George, Maxey has been a consistent scorer and the expectation is for him to take advantage of a bad defensive backcourt. He’s averaging almost 40 minutes per game and will score large chunks in spurts throughout the game. Put a unit on Maxey scoring just over his average in tonight’s match at the Barclays Center.
