Royals vs Red Sox - Probably a wait out the rain and play delay today. Could be a lengthy delay.
Prates vs Cubs - Delay potential with some winds blowing in, which helps pitching a bit in the most wind sensitive park in baseball.
MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Pitchers
MLB DFS Top Pitchers
Cam Schlittler (NYY)
Analysis: There's not a lot to say here. He's been as good as any pitcher on the planet and is coming off three straight games of 28+ DKP and two straight of 32+. The Mets definitely have had success in the second half against right-handed pitching, so keep that in mind.
Dylan Cease (TOR)
Analysis: The Orioles are bad against right-handed pitching. They strike out a lot and have an 85 wRC+ with a 24.3% K-rate. Cease is coming off a bad start but it was in Sutter Health Park. Before that, he put up 23+ DKP in four straight and has shown a 50 FP ceiling on DK.
Payton Tolle (BOS)
Analysis: Twice over his last six games, Payton Tolle has struck out at least 12 batters and has put up 37+ DKP to boot. The Royals have a 23.6% K-rate along with an 84 wRC+ against lefties since the break. Tolle is as good as anyone else on the slate.
MLB DFS Value Pitchers
Trevor Rogers (BAL)
Analysis: The Blue Jays have been quite bad against left-handed pitching this year as they've posted an 83 wRC+. They don't strike out a bunch against southpaws, but Rogers has pitched extremely well lately putting up 20+ in two straight and four of five overall.
Noah Cameron (KC)
Analysis: The Red Sox offense has began struggling against left-handed pitching since the break. Boston has a 98 wRC+ along with a 23.8% K-rate against southpaws. It doesn't help them that Willson Contreras and Ceddanne Rafaela are out of the lineup. Cameron has 6 QS over his last nine starts and has 7+ Ks in six of nine as well.
Emmet Sheehan (LAD)
Analysis: Making another start today and it's in a great spot. Sheehan decimated the Reds last time out posting 10 Ks across 5.2 IP while allowing 1 ER (Elly HR). The Marlins offense is slightly above league average vs. RHP since the break but are striking out around 23% of the time.
Matthew Boyd (CHC)
Analysis: The Pirates have been dreadful offensively. They have a 77 wRC+ along with a .645 OPS and a 25.8% K-rate. It's good pitching weather in Chicago with winds blowing in and Boyd has pitched well in two of his last three starts.
Freddy Peralta (TB)
Analysis: Peralta is just pitching well since coming over to the Rays and this has been a plus plus plus pitcher throughout his career. He's VERY cheap on DK and Houston has been worse than league average since the All-Star break. Peralta has 15.9+ DKP in three straight outings.
