2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Grissom has played parts of two big leagues seasons and in 216 at bats he has a respectable overall .287/.339/.407 triple-slash to show for it. The Red Sox rescued Grissom from what was likely a platoon situation with the Braves and as a right-handed hitter in Fenway Park he’s in a position to succeed. 

2024 Outlook: No one has ever questioned his batting skills but with his characteristically below average launch angle and barrel rate he probably won’t be hitting too many home runs this season but with that Green Monster in left field a bunch of his line drives should turn into doubles, and he’ll likely provide fantasy managers with a solid batting average in the .270 to .280 range. Look for lower double digit home run and stolen base totals this season.
