Zay Flowers and Puka Nacua sit atop my NFL DFS WR rankings for Week 8, but an NFC East tandem makes for my favorite NFL DFS stack for Week 8! There’s a lot to sort through, but don’t worry, we've got you covered here at Fantasy Alarm! Not only will you get my top NFL DFS WR picks for Week 8, but I’ll also cover my top fade of the week and some intriguing DFS stacks, including a contrarian stack if you want to zig where others zag. Without further ado, let’s dive into the NFL DFS WR Coach for Week 8!
NFL DFS Week 8 WR Picks
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams - DraftKings: $8,600 | FanDuel: $9,100
In the team’s first game without Davante Adams, Nacua handled a 34.5% target share, 34.8% first-read rate, and posted 21.8 fantasy points, per FantasyPoints Data. In fact, if you go back to 2025, in four games without Adams, Nacua has averaged 27.5 fantasy points and 104 receiving yards per game! Nacua may be playing banged up, or at least not that close to 100%, but he continues to produce, and Matthew Stafford has no issue targeting him 10+ times a game, if not more. The Chargers have played two-high safeties at the eighth-highest rate in the league, and this year, Nacua has 2.86 yards per route run against two-high safeties, per FantasyPoints Data. Oh, I’ll leave you with this. The Chargers have been a bit of a pass funnel this year, as they have the second-lowest rush success rate allowed, compared to the 13th-best pass success rate allowed, per FantasyPoints Data.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings - DraftKings: $7,100 | FanDuel: $7,900
This has to be the spot where Jefferson gets it done, right? RIGHT? The Lions have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game on the year to wideouts, and overall, they have allowed the fourth-highest explosive pass rate, per FantasyPoints Data. I know Kyler Murray and explosive aren’t exactly synonymous this year, but this has to be the “get right” spot. Every QB except for Josh Allen has thrown for at least 270 yards against the Lions, while every quarterback has recorded multiple touchdown passes. Jefferson is second on the team in red zone targets, and he has a 23.6% target share overall, per FantasyPoints Data. Despite having more games with sub-10 fantasy points than he has games with more than 10, there aren’t many better matchups than this. Oh, for what it’s worth, he averages 107.1 receiving yards per game against the Lions for his career.
Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $6,100
Given that Tucker has an 83rd percentile separation score and 85th percentile route win rate, per FantasyPoints Data, it likely won’t come as much of a surprise that he’s been solid against man coverage this year, posting 1.76 yards per route run. Furthermore, against two-high safety looks, Tucker has 2.21 yards per route run and a team-high 0.22 targets per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. The Jets haven’t been overly generous to outside receivers, but they have surrendered five touchdowns on 46 receptions to perimeter wideouts. Lastly, the Jets play Cover 2 at the league’s highest rate, and albeit a small sample size, Tucker’s 41.7% first read rate leads the team, even higher than Brock Bowers’ 37.5%, per FantasyPoints Data.
Omar Cooper, New York Jets - DraftKings: $4,800 | FanDuel: $5,900
This game might see more points than many are expecting, and Cooper’s big-play ability should shine once again in this one. The Raiders have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to slot receivers on the year, and out of the slot in 2026, the rookie wideout has posted an astronomical 5.70 yards per route run out of the slot, per FantasyPoints Data. Once he gets the ball, good luck, as he has an above-average missed tackles forced per reception rate and yards after catch per reception mark, per FantasyPoints Data. He has a top 12 explosive play rate on the year amongst WRs with at least 10 targets, and he boasts an 89th percentile separation score, per FantasyPoints Data. There’s a lot to like with Cooper, and while Garrett Wilson will get his, Cooper is someone to pay attention to, beyond the fact that he’s posted 100+ yards in back-to-back games.
Best NFL DFS WR Values for Week 8
Best DraftKings WR Value: Ja'Kobi Lane, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $3,400 | FanDuel: $4,500
With Lamar Jackson expected to be back, the Baltimore passing game under Declan Doyle should be in full force, and in a potential shootout, this should be a good game to be invested in for DFS purposes. Lane may not have had his big fantasy day yet, but this could be an excellent opportunity for him. He’s coming off a season-high snap share (69.2%) and route participation rate (65%) in Week 7, and after missing over a month, he’s returned to handle five targets in each of his last two games. Nearly half of his targets on the year have been inside the 20-yard line, and no team has allowed more fantasy points per game to perimeter receivers than the Bills in 2026, per FantasyPoints Data. This game has an O/U of 53 at the time of writing, and just $3,400 on DraftKings is a very cheap way to get exposure to this game.
Best FanDuel WR Value: Germie Bernard, Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $4,900 | FanDuel: $5,000
Bernard was quiet in Week 7, but I’m not expecting the same fate for the rookie in Week 8. The Browns have the fifth-highest yards market share allowed to slot WRs on the year, and they have surrendered the 10th-most fantasy points per game to them, per FantasyPoints Data. Furthermore, Cleveland plays single-high safety looks at the league’s highest rate, and over the last three weeks, Bernard has 2.05 yards per route run against single-high safety looks, per FantasyPoints Data. The Browns and Steelers last met in Week 4, and out of the slot, Roman Wilson posted 6.17 yards per route run, and the duo of Wilson and DK Metcalf combined for five receptions on eight targets for 124 yards and a TD out of the slot, per FantasyPoints Data.
Best NFL DFS WR Stacks for Week 8
Best QB/WR Stack
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars - DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $7,200
Stack with:
- Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars - DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,700
When the Jags face a team that likes to play man coverage, you do what you need to do to get Parker Washington in your DFS lineups. Against man coverage this season, Washington has recorded 0.33 targets per route run and 2.58 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. About 42% of his routes come from the slot, and Indianapolis has been one of the worst teams defending slot receivers in 2026! Washington went for 115 yards on eight receptions against the Colts last season, and Trevor Lawrence went for 19+ fantasy points in both meetings with Indy last season.
With Jacksonville boasting one of the higher implied team totals on the slate, we want a piece of this offense, and the Lawrence/Washington stack feels like a good starting point. Bhayshul Tuten can’t do it all in this game!
Best QB/WR Stack (Honorable Mention)
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $8,100 | FanDuel: $8,900
Stack with:
- Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $8,000
The Cardinals have allowed the second-most yards per target (9.98) to wideouts on the year, and no team plays two-high safety looks more than the Cardinals, per FantasyPoints Data. Well, against two-high safeties, guess who leads the team with 0.33 targets per route run, 2.67 yards per route run, and 0.67 fantasy points per route run, per FantasyPoints Data! Yes, that would be Lamb! George Pickens sits at 0.17 targets per route run (lower than Ryan Flournoy and Jake Ferguson) and 1.51 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints Data.
The Cardinals generate the third-lowest pressure rate in the league, and when he’s not pressured, Prescott has a 74.3% completion rate, 6.3% touchdown rate, 109.4 passer rating, and 0.55 fantasy points per dropback, per FantasyPoints Data. For comparison’s sake, that 0.55 fantasy points per dropback is exactly what Caleb Williams has put forth this season! Arizona has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs and the second-highest passer rating on the year, so wheels up for this stack in Week 8!
Best WR/WR Stack
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals - DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $7,100
Stack with:
- Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals - DraftKings: $7,700 | FanDuel: $8,700
This is likely the chalkiest – and priciest – pair on the board, but the matchup is simply too good to ignore. The Titans play two-high safety looks above the league average rate, and on the year, Chase has posted 0.27 targets per route run and 2.01 yards per route run, while Higgins’ marks sit at 0.27 and 2.71, respectively. Tennessee is tied for eighth in terms of most fantasy points allowed to perimeter wideouts on the year, and the team’s lack of pressure through nearly the first half of the season should be music to Cincinnati’s ears. When Joe Burrow isn’t pressured, he has a 12:1 TD/INT ratio, 77.2% completion rate, and 119.8 passer rating, per FantasyPoints Data. Given the inconsistent ground game of late, I’d expect the Bengals to let the arm of Burrow build the lead and put up the points, which stands to benefit his two elite wideouts in Chase and Higgins.
Best Contrarian Stack
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,700
Stack with:
- Michael Penix, Atlanta Falcons - DraftKings: $5,300 | FanDuel: $6,900
After the Tampa Bay defense stymied the Carolina Panthers, I wouldn’t be surprised if ownership is down a bit on the Atlanta passing attack this week. I like the outlook for the Atlanta offense against Tampa Bay, and it starts with Drake London through the air. He’s averaging 18.7 fantasy points per game with Penix under center, not to mention 3.65 yards per route run and a 29.9% target share, per FantasyPoints Data. Tampa Bay plays a ton of zone coverage and single-high safety looks, and London’s 4.14 yards per route run against zone and 4.61 yards per route run against single-high safety looks are beyond elite!
Amongst the 30 QBs in the NFL who have at least 75 dropbacks against single-high safety looks, Penix has the second-highest YPA (9.37), 3rd-highest passer rating (110.0), and seventh-best EPA/DB (0.230), per FantasyPoints Data. Penix doesn’t offer much with his legs, but he’s thrown for three touchdowns in back-to-back games, and I believe this is as good of an opportunity as any to extend that streak to three.
NFL DFS WR Fade for Week 8
A.J. Brown, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $6,500
Do you know how many wide receivers have recorded 75 or more receiving yards against Miami this season? Three.
Do you know how many wide receivers have scored a receiving touchdown against the Dolphins? Three.
Do you know how many wide receivers have exceeded 16 fantasy points (PPR) against the Dolphins? Two.
Brown’s 48 yards in Week 7 were the most in a game this season, and he’s caught just 47.4% of his targets this season. The Dolphins have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to perimeter wideouts, and over 80% of Brown’s routes have come out wide this year, per FantasyPoints Data. It may seem like a good matchup, but you get at Miami with backs and tight ends, not receivers as much.
NFL DFS Week 8 WR Play of the Week
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $8,000
This Buffalo team has struggled against wide receivers all year long, and Flowers has at least nine targets in four straight games. For the year, he has the third-highest target share (29.8%) and second-most yards per route run (3.82) amongst WRs with at least 100 routes run, per FantasyPoints Data! Six different receivers have scored 20+ fantasy points against the Bills this season, per FantasyPoints Data, and if the Bills continue to primarily sit in Cover 3 and Cover 4, good luck stopping Flowers. Against those two coverages this year, Flowers has posted 4.53 yards per route run, a 23.8% explosive reception rate, and a 144.4 passer rating when targeted, per FantasyPoints Data.
DraftKings vs. FanDuel WR Picks for Week 8
Between FanDuel and DraftKings, here are a few of the more notable pricing/ranking discrepancies on the two sites. Baltimore Ja'Kobi Lane is priced too cheaply on both sites, but Germie Bernard on FanDuel feels like one of the more mispriced players on the entire slate. He’s right around the top-30 on DraftKings, but couldn’t crack the top 50 on FanDuel? Interesting. Jakobi Meyers and Keenan Allen are better suited for DraftKings’ PPR scoring, and they also find themselves as better values there as well.
| Player | FD Salary | FD Rank | DK Salary | DK Rank | Cheaper Site |
| Germie Bernard | $5,000 | 51 | $4,900 | 29 | FanDuel |
| Ja'Kobi Lane | $4,500 | 78 | $3,400 | 59 | FanDuel |
| Quentin Johnston | $5,100 | 47 | $4,600 | 35 | FanDuel |
| Jakobi Meyers | $5,900 | 23 | $4,500 | 36 | DraftKings |
| Keenan Allen | $5,800 | 26 | $4,500 | 37 | DraftKings |
| Xavier Worthy | $6,100 | 20 | $4,900 | 28 | DraftKings |
