Brent Seabrook won't be part of Chicago's postseason roster.
The decision was made following a conversation with Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman on Thursday. Seabrook said he didn't feel comfortable yet to return to game action, so he won't be accompanying the team to the Edmonton bubble. He still wants to play hockey next year, but he isn't sure what his place is with Chicago. Seabrook has another four seasons left on his eight-year, $55 million contract. He was limited to 32 appearances in 2019-20 after having surgeries to his right shoulder (Dec. 27), left hip (January) and right hip (Feb. 6). Jul 24 1:58 pm (EST)
