2025 Season Recap
Chig Okonkwo had a quiet 2025 season with Tennessee, catching 56 passes for 560 yards and just two touchdowns across all 17 games in a Titans passing attack that struggled with rookie quarterback Cam Ward's development. He averaged 5.6 fantasy points per game, a modest mark, but he remained a reliable target in an otherwise difficult offensive environment. He has since signed with Washington this offseason.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Okonkwo signed with Washington this offseason, joining a Commanders offense that should be significantly improved with Jayden Daniels returning healthy in Year 3. Washington went on a defensive-minded free agency blitz this offseason but also added Rachaad White and Okonkwo on offense, giving Daniels another receiving option alongside Terry McLaurin. Okonkwo's athleticism and seam-stretching ability give the Commanders a different look at tight end than they had a year ago. He is consensus TE16 and a streaming option with touchdown upside if Daniels' return unlocks the kind of offense Washington showed flashes of during their NFC Championship run two years ago.
