2023 Player Outlook
Elijah Mitchell didn't get the chance to show us much last season, as he only played in five games, but he did dramatically improve his yards per carry average from 4.7 to 6.2. With the addition of Christian McCaffrey last season, Mitchell's hopes of becoming the lead back were dashed, but he should still see around ten carries per game. San Francisco has one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this year, so he may also get the added benefit of some garbage time touches throughout the season.
