2024 Player Outlook
Rashod Bateman flashed at time his rookie year in 2021 but, so far, that's been his best year statistically. Which is an even bigger indictment when you realize that he played 12 games that year and played 16 last season. After not surpassing more than 3 targets in a game for the first 8 weeks, Bateman did have some games with 5-6 targets towards the middle of the season but couldn't capitalize on them, cracking 40 yards only once all year. The coaching staff continually expresses their belief in Bateman and they didn't add much in terms of wide receiver competition but it's clear at this stage that Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews are the true focal points of this pass attack.
