2024 Player Outlook

Pour one out for those of us who would draft Keenan Allen at a great ADP value each season and watch him outperform expectations year-in-year-out. Allen appeared in just 13 games last season due to injury and yet still finished with 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven scores. So why the hesitations this season? Well, he is now playing for the Chicago Bears with rookie number one overall pick Caleb Williams at QB. The Bears offense also already has DJ Moore who had over 1,300 yards receiving last season himself. Oh yeah, the Bears also used the ninth overall pick on receiver Rome Odunze and they still have Cole Kmet. So many options in this offense that someone is going to take a hit if not everyone as the target share gets evened out. Listen, I'm very well aware that two receivers can have strong fantasy relevant seasons but it just feels like the odds are against Allen here in this spot. I'm not saying don't draft him at ADP, but I would at least known what the risks are if you do.
