Wizards vs. Bulls Prediction: Nikola Vucevic Over 1.5 Threes Made & 10+ Rebounds (+135 SGP on Bet365) *Bet of the Day

The Well did not even attempt a three-point field goal in his most recent game. It was an off night for Nikola Vucevic, who played just 27 minutes, attempted just 9 field goals, and earned just 7 rebounds. All well below his season average. What is most odd is the Chicago Bulls were behind in that match as well.

Tonight the Bulls host the Washington Wizards at the United Center, a team that has been a morale booster for the past two seasons. The Wizards allow the most rebounds per game to opposing teams with 56.4. Vucevic’s rebounding line is set at 10.5, and the angle in this parlay removes the ever dangerous hook from his line.

The second half of the parlay is for Vucevic to get back to three point field goal attempts, and make two of them. Perhaps he was playing through the illness that is making its way through the NBA, or perhaps Zach Lavine was just in takeover mode on his way to over 30 points.

Either way the expectation tonight is for Vucevic to get back to his normal form. He averages over 10 rebounds per game, and The Well has provided over 1.5 threes made in most games this season. Put a unit on this parlay that takes the juice off his lines.

 

 

 

Pelicans vs. 76ers Prediction: Tyrese Maxey To Be Leading Scorer (-140 on DraftKings)

Tyrese Maxey has been a routine player mentioned this year, as he is the best player on the Philadelphia 76ers team. Not only is the best player for the 76ers, he will be the best player on the court as Philadelphia hosts the New Orleans Pelicans. 

Maxey’s point average is almost three points higher than any other player in tonight’s match. He averages 25.5 points per game and Zion Williamson averages 22.6. Each could be the leading scorer for their team. 

He has the highest point line of the night and has a 9-point advantage over CJ McCollum and Williamson who have lines of 21.5. Maxey could score 31 points tonight, but that does seem like a reach considering his average is 25.5. Granted the Pelicans are not the best defensive team, but taking that much of an increase on points seems risky. 

With that in mind, taking him to be the leading scorer seems like an obvious choice. McCollum could make several threes challenging Maxey for highest scorer, but the Pelicans starting lineups are returning to full health.

Williamson and Dejounte Murray will need the ball more often, while Maxey will control the ball and flow of the 76ers offense. Put a unit on him to be this game’s leading scorer even if he doesn’t get to 31 points.

Of the seven games there is one that stands out as the best, especially from an NBA picks standpoint. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks have a combined 55 wins this season, and from that match comes a player proposition with plus odds.

Karl-Anthony Towns is having an amazing season and should be in more discussions for MVP. In what is the game of the night, Towns will be needed against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Madison Square Garden. 

The Thunder allow the most rebounds per game in the league, 56.4, but over their last three games have an average of 51.7. The last time the Knicks played the Thunder Towns earned 22 rebounds, which is incredible when you think about it. He also played 42 minutes in that game, six shy of a full game. 

Towns is averaging 14.0 rebounds per game and has really improved his post play this season. However the Thunder are coming off a tough loss that broke a 15 game win streak, and should respond with more effort tonight. 

Isaiah Hartenstein is also averaging double-digit rebounds per game, and Jalen Williams is capable of grabbing several rebounds as well. The Knicks also have Josh Hart and OG Anunoby who are great rebounders who will take away opportunities from him.

Towns could also get in foul trouble limiting his minutes, or has been seen this season, be left on the bench to finish the game. He is listed as day-to-day which could also limit his performance. There are several scenarios in which Towns doesn’t earn 14 rebounds and at +115 it is worth the risk. Put a unit on this plus odd proposition bet.
