Yesterday was another successful day for Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets. That is three days in a row with a profit, seven of the last nine wagers were successful, and a profit in five of the last six days. In the words of Bono, “..But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.” We want to reach our betting goal, and we are on the right track to do so. There are nine NBA games today that begin at 3:00 PM ET with Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers traveling north to take on Dorian Finney-Smith and the Brooklyn Nets. The last game begins at 9:30 PM ET as Alperen Sengun and the Houston Rockets take on Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. There will be a best bet on the first game and the last game, one will be a straight bet and the other a prop. However there are more bets today, across seven more games as another straight bet is placed on the Orlando Magic at Indiana Pacers which has a 5:00 PM ET tip off. There is also one more prop bet in the Sacramento Kings at Dallas Mavericks game too. The rare four best bets will happen on a loaded sports day.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 12.5 Rebounds. (-125) DraftKings Sportsbook

Domantas Sabonis was the Association’s leading rebounder of 2022-23, averaging 12.3 boards per game. So far this season D. Sabonis is averaging more rebounds per game with 12.9. However, that is good enough for only fifth thus far this season, but that is a wonderful average. The Dallas Mavericks, although improving their rebounding, are still giving up several rebounds per game. Dallas uses a rotation of Dereck Lively, Max Kleber, and Dwight Powell and although D. Lively has multiple double-digit rebounding games; he rarely plays more than 27 minutes. Sabonis will dominate against M. Kleber and D. Powell who play more pick-n-roll or hang around the three line. Giannis Antetokounmpo earned 15 rebounds yesterday against the Mavericks, and D. Sabonis on a day’s rest should get this high rebounding line against the Mavericks on the second of back-to-back games.

Indiana Pacers ML (-185) DraftKings Sportsbook

The Indiana Pacers host the Orlando Magic today in an Eastern Conference showdown. The Pacers are 7-4 on the season and 5-2 at home, while the Orlando Magic are 7-5 and have won two in a row. The Pacers are improving daily with Head Coach Rick Carlisle whooping this proud franchise into shape. The return of Tyrese Halliburton has really lifted the Pacers, and he was the highest scoring fantasy point guard in their last game. The Pacers have a healthy roster with only Andrew Nembhard out. T. Halliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Bruce Brown, Obi Toppin, and Myles Turner are a formidable starting five that should impose their will on the much younger Orlando Magic. Trust the Pacers to win this game.

Philadelphia 76ers ML (-166) DraftKings Sportsbook

The Philadelphia 76ers are playing the Brooklyn Nets to begin NBA action today. The line is slowly moving towards positive odds. The Nets are 6-6, 5-5 in the conference, 3-3 on the road, and 3-3 at home… a true .500 team. The Philadelphia 76ers are 9-3, 3-1 on the road, and second in the Eastern Conference. Kelly Ourbe Jr. is still recovering from a horrific injury, being hit by a vehicle, but the Philadelphia 76ers have one the deepest benches in the league after the James Harden trade. Philadelphia has played a few games without K. Ourbe Jr., and should be fine. Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid should be able to dominate the starters of the Nets. Trust the better team to win .

Alperen Sengun OVER 18.5 Points (+100) DraftKings Sportsbook

Alperen Sengun is becoming a more complete player. He has gone over this line in four straight games, including on the 8th of this month when he scored 19 points in a blowout win against the Los Angeles Lakers. He scored 23 points against the Los Angeles Clippers two days ago in the same arena. The Rockets did not travel, and received a day's rest which should aid their big man. The Lakers allow the 17th most points to opposing centers, and the Rockets are simply playing better basketball. Trust Sengun to go over this line yet again, and the bookies are giving us even odds… the fools.
