It is Tuesday, and that means TNT NBA action will be on display for a national audience. One of the best NBA pre-game shows, which is usually entertaining and informative, will be on to let us know about Isaiah Hartenstein and other questionable tags. There are only five games today, but at least a few of them should be close battles. 

The Denver Nuggets take on the Indiana Pacers to begin the action at 7:00 PM ET, and there is a teased same-game parlay worth a wager. The first TNT game is a battle in the Empire State, as the New York Knicks take on the Brooklyn Nets. The lines are tight, but a good angle was found for the match. The second match is a two-team home game in Los Angeles, as the Lakers and Clippers close out the night with a 10:00 PM ET tip-off.

Russell Westbrook OVER 5.5 Rebounds (-115 at BetMGM)

Russell Westbrook makes a return to Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets after an extended absence. Prior to the arrival of James Harden R. Westbrook was clearing this with ease. As a captain, he did what he thought would be best for the team and volunteered to come off the bench. That caused a dip in production, as one would expect, but R. Westbrook was correct and the Clippers are playing much better basketball. 

The Clippers have won nine of their last eleven games, and are currently fourth in the Western Conference. R. Westbrook’s minutes were dipping below twenty often and the lines were being withheld until the game began. He has played over twenty-two minutes in his last three games, including games over twenty-nine minutes, and thirty-one minutes. In those two games, he earned seventeen combined rebounds and covered this betting line. He is still averaging 5.9 rebounds per game, and the Lakers will be without LeBron James, who earns over seven rebounds per game.

Westbrook should have high minutes again, and the Lakers allow the fourth most rebounds to opposing point guards. Trust the vet to earn the rebounds tonight.

NBA Prop Bet of the Night

Jalen Brunson OVER 28.5 Points (-110 at BetMGM)

Jalen Brunson has been on a heater, and so have the New York Knicks. The Knicks have won nine of eleven games in 2024, and J. Brunson only played in one of those losses. He has covered this point line in seven of his last eight games played, and as the All-Star game approaches J. Brunson will have to do more impressing if he wants to get ahead of Tyrese Maxey or Donovan Mitchell. It is crazy to think that Jalen Brunson may not be an all-star despite 26.5 points and 6.5 assists per game… He is the starting point guard for the New York Knicks too. 

Tonight will be a great opportunity to display his skills to a national audience against a poor defensive team. The Nets allow the fifth most fantasy points to opposing point guards, and most of it comes from points and rebounds allowed. J. Brunson attacks the rim and uses his dribbling skills to get to a high-percentage field goal attempt. The Brooklyn Nets are also on the first home game after a long road tour, and as Hubie Brown stated, ‘The toughest road game is the first home game back.’ Trust the Knicks point guard to stay hot against the Nets.

Denver Nuggets Money Line + Nikola Jokic 20+ Points and OVER 10.5 Rebounds (+120 at DraftKings)

DraftKings offers a No Sweat Bet, implying if you lose a bet you get up to $5 back in a free bet. Should this bet lose you could take the $5 bet and put it on Superbowl future, or NBA Finals winner future, and have a better return. However, this bet has a high percentage to hit as it has been teased down. The Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers are the first game tonight, and it should be another great battle between two NBA champion coaches. 

The Nuggets are five-point favorites, and their starting five are scheduled to play despite Micahel Porter Jr. working through an illness. Nikola Jokic was a double unit hit for this column in his last match, and we are going back to him again tonight. His points have been teased down drastically to 20+ on the alternate line, and his rebounding line has been teased down to 10.5 to cover the hook. The Nuggets moneyline has been chosen as opposed to any teased spread, just win baby. This returns positive odds on a teased bet, featuring the best player in the Association.
