Point Guard

Kyle Lowry may have burned a few of you last night, but he could be the savior tonight. The Sixers are actually better than most think against opposing PGs, but if Sergio Rodriguez starts again, Lowry gets a slight boost. DeMar DeRozan may sit tonight against the Sixers for rest purposes and Lowry averages 8 more fantasy points per 36 min with DeRozan off the floor.

Cory Joseph exploded for 44 fantasy points last night against the Nets and he’s in a great spot again tonight. He’s only worth playing if DeRozan sits and he sees a 5 percent bump in usage sans DeRozan as well as 12 more fantasy points per 36 min.

Steph Curry faces off against the electric Russell Westbrook and he could be without his fellow splash brother as well. He sees a massive eight percent increase in usage rate with Thompson off the floor and he would be a top play in all formats.

Mike Conley has been on fire lately even with the Grizzlies nearing full strength. Conley has gone over 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games and he’ll look to keep it going against the Wizards. His price increase make shim more of a tournament option.

Shooting Guard

Ron Baker is an interesting value play today, but he carries some risk. The Knicks will be extremely shorthanded tonight with Lance Thomas, Kristaps Porzingis, and potentially Joakim Noah on the shelf.

James Harden is coming off a monster triple-double where he scored 77 fantasy points, but he’s in a great spot again tonight. His price dropped below $12,000 and while the matchup isn’t great, it should be a high-scoring affair which benefits Harden.

C.J. McCollum has a great matchup against the Hornets who have been awful against SGs all season long. His price has dropped considerably and he’s one of the safer SG options of the night.

Nicolas Batum is in consideration simply because he’s facing his old team. Kidding, don’t like someone for that reason alone. Batum nearly triple-doubled in his last game and as long as he can shoot the ball better this game, we could see another Batum explosion.

Small Forward

The Houston and Milwaukee game is one to stack and now that the Greek Freak has PG/SF eligibility, he’s much easier to squeeze in. Giannis Antetokounmpo has a massive ceiling for tonight and he needs to be in some tournament lineups.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas started in his last game and scored 28 fantasy points through 37 minutes. He’ll likely get the start once again and is the SF value play of the day against the Celtics.

While Kevin Durant doesn’t get a huge boost with Klay Thompson out, he’ll still be a top option in the highest scoring game of the night. He has a floor of around 35 and he can be used in either cash formats or tournaments.

Rudy Gay has scored over 44 fantasy points in two straight games and he’ll look to keep things going tonight against the Pacers. It should also be a high scoring game and Gay can be expected to hit 5-6x value tonight.

Power Forward

DeMarcus Cousins is relatively cheap at $10,600 and the Pacers have really struggled against big men this season. DMC is arguably the best stud to pay up for and it’s possible to fit he and the Greek Freak into a lineup.

Kyle O’Quinn would be an excellent tournament play if Joakim Noah sits and he could see some serious burn. O’Quinn averages a ridiculous 1.18 FP/min and would be a tough fade.

Kelly Olynyk has been more aggressive lately and the Celtics are reaping the rewards from that. With the Knicks frontcourt extremely thin, look for Olynyk to take advantage of that once again.

Jabari Parker is also in play tonight against the Rockets and he’s a very safe cash option. He has scored under 30 fantasy points in just two of his last 15 games. Parker has a favorable matchup, and it would be a bit better if Ryan Anderson suits up.

Center

Nikola Vucevic’s play has been impressive since moving to the starting lineup and he’s facing one of the worst teams in the league against big men. His minutes rarely reach above 33, but Vuc can still put up points in a hurry.

Joffrey Lauvergne is an interesting value play, but his performance last game stemmed from a blowout. However, if Steven Adams misses tonight’s game against the Warriors, Lauvergne should see extended minutes off the bench. He’s just $3,200 and is worth throwing in a few GPPS.

Al Horford has been scoring 30 fantasy points or more for eight straight games. However, he’s scored over 40 just once in that span and he’s merely a cash game option because of his high floor.
