NBA Best Bets Today, 11/25: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Tuesday
Yesterday's NBA Best Bets were a mixed bag of results, and they were proof that odds are simply just numbers. The negative odds of the Cleveland Cavaliers -2.5 and Tyler Herro under 16.5 points didn’t come close to being successful. Meanwhile, the plus odds player proposition of Dillon Brooks earning two steals cleared early in the third quarter. Such is betting. The Toronto Raptors are for real, so get a future wager on them winning the NBA Cup (+900). Their odds are already at -425 to make the playoffs.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/25
Speaking of the NBA Cup, Thanksgiving week is loaded with NBA Cup games. It begins today and goes through Friday (no NBA games Thursday). These games are high-powered offensive battles until the last buzzard. Although a few joked about it in its inaugural year, the NBA Cup has motivated teams to play with more effort to begin the season. Due to LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo winning the first two MVPs, the prestige of the tournament (and award) has been lifted. Today’s best bets utilize the energy of the NBA Cup to their advantage.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Washington Wizards Prediction: Tuesday, 11/25
Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Capital One Center | Odds: ATL -10.5 | O/U 236.5
- Prediction: LADDER – ATL Hawks Team Total Over 123.5 Points (-118 FanDuel Sportsbook) & ATL Hawks Team Total Over 128.5 Points (+162 on FanDuel Sportsbook)
The first game today is a match in East Group B. The Washington Wizards host the Atlanta Hawks at the Capital One Center. Atlanta is 1-1, while Washington is 0-2. Six group winners and the best record of each conference advance. The tie breaker is point differential, and the Hawks are currently at 8. They need much more if they are going to be the wild card team. That is why today’s first best bet is the Atlanta Hawks team total over 123.5 points.
During the NBA Cup, the winning team has been pouring it on to add to their point differential. Tonight should be more of the same, with a chance to have a tremendous point total against the worst team in the Association. Atlanta is averaging 117.3 points per game, and the Wizards allow 129.1 points per game. The Hawks' team total line is set at 123.5 points, six more than their average, and a unit is suggested on the set line.
A teased-up line of 128.5 points is suggested for two reasons. First, Washington allows more than that as their game average. If they play at their average level, 129 points should be easy. Second, it is the NBA Cup! Atlanta has advanced out of the group stage before; they understand what it takes, and the thrill of being in the semifinals. Put another unit down on Washington to allow their average amount of points today. Two best bets on one team.
Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction: Tuesday, 11/25
Game Time: 8:00 PM ET | TV: NBC/Peacock | Location: Xfinity Mobile Arena | Odds: ORL -2.5 | O/U: 229.5
- Prediction: Orlando Magic -2.5 (-105 on Draftkings Sportsbook)
The Philadelphia 76ers are 0 - 2 in the 2025 NBA Cup, while the Orlando Magic are 2 - 0. Paul George is probable and could see his first NBA Cup game this season. Joel Embiid is questionable, and the spread will move if he is declared out. Adem Bona, Kelly Oubre, and VJ Edgecombe are out, which will leave them thin at guard and center.
Orlando will be without Paolo Banchero, but that hasn’t slowed them down. Banchero has missed six games, and the Magic are in a rhythm without him on the court. Philadelphia is improving every day, but it could have issues with a defensively-minded Magic. Each team averages 118.3 points per game, but the Magic allows 1.9 fewer points per game. Put a unit on Orlando to cover the low spread.
NBA King of the Court Bet Today, 11/25
- Luka Doncic 50+ Points+Rebounds+Assists (-137 on DraftKings Sportsbook) 0.5 U
The King of the Court is back, and it is a promotion to earn a share of $1,000,000. Everyone who places a successful wager on the player with the highest combined total of points+rebounds+assists (PRA) gets a percentage of the million. This promotion is designed with chalky play in mind. The sportsbooks don’t want to give out 20 $50,000 free wagers. They want to give out 100,000 $10.00 wagers. Luka Doncic was the leader last week, and he should be the leader again today. Especially with only three games.
The promotion requires a minimum of $5.00; it must be points+rebounds+assists, and not the over/under line. It must also be -200 or higher. Doncic’s 45+ PRA line is set at -256, and his 50+ PRA is -137. That is the mark for the King of the Court best bet. Tyrese Maxey has won this “award” too, but against Orlando’s defense and playing alongside Paul George, a lower ceiling is expected. James Harden could have an excellent night and win, but Doncic averages 52.1 PRA per game, and has almost 7 more than the next closest average tonight.
It’s chalkier than an elementary sidewalk, but Luka Doncic is the play for the King of the Court. Put a half unit on this best bet as the odds are not great, and the goal is to receive a free bet from the promotional offer.
