NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/13
Paolo Banchero was injured in the first half of the Orlando Magic versus the New York Knicks. Even without Banchero, Orlando became the first road team to win at Madison Square Garden this season. However, Banchero did not cover his rebounding proposition. Injuries are a part of sports, and therefore a part of sports betting. Some books offer insurance if a player is hurt in the first quarter, but most do not. After all, they had to pay out every under pick at + money.
The Miami Heat appeared to have everything on track for an easy cover of the spread. However, they must have forgotten that basketball is a four-quarter sport. They were up by four going into the fourth quarter, but lost home-court advantage. The Cleveland Cavaliers' second unit outscored Miami 37 - 19 in the last 12 minutes of the game.Â
Austin Reaves only scored 8 points in the first half against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was unable to get anything going against the defending champions. In fact, it was a season-low point performance. There are three games this Thursday, and there are three NBA best bets today to match those games.

Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction: Thursday, 11/13
Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: NBA TV |Â Location: Rocket Arena |Â Odds:Â CLE -6.5Â | O/U 240.5
- Prediction: Brandon Ingram Over 20.5 Points (-106 Draftkings Sportsbook)
The Cleveland Cavaliers are playing in the second of back-to-back games today as they host the Toronto Raptors. They played in Miami last night, but today’s game is at Rocket Arena. Traveling back from Miami is a longer trip than most realize, and they stayed within the same time zone. The Cavaliers did not play Evan Mobley or Donovan Mitchell last night, and both should be rested for today’s game.
However, Toronto is rested for this game too, and due to that, the best bet for this game is Brandon Ingram over 20.5 points. He is playing well for his new team and shares the spotlight with Scottie Barnes. However, Barnes is giving the ball to Ingram often, and Ingram is the Raptors' leading scorer. Ingram averages 21.4 points per game, and his line is set below his average.Â
Granted, Mobley is a great defender, but Ingram is a scorer’s scorer. He excels in the mid-game, but is also aggressive at attacking the rim. This allows him to shoot several free throws every game. His made free throws should put his points above his average. Put a unit on Ingram to score 21 or more points today.

Indiana Pacers vs. Phoenix Suns Prediction: Thursday, 11/13
Game Time: 9:00 PM ET |Â TV:Â Local |Â Location:Â Mortgage Matchup Center |Â Odds:Â PHO -4.5 | O/U: 230.5
- Prediction: Indiana Pacers Moneyline (+160 FanDuel Sportsbook)Â
The Indiana Pacers continue their Western Conference road tour. Today, they play against the Phoenix Suns, who are playing much better than most people anticipated prior to the season. They are 7-5, on a three-game streak, and are coming off a late-night win against the Dallas Mavericks yesterday. They will be tired, and some players could be rested for tonight’s game against the 1-10 Indiana Pacers.Â
Indiana has been atrocious this season, and the championship hangover is real for the Pacers. They have lost five in a row and have a -12.2 point differential. However, the expectation is for them to upset the home team with a victory. They are healthier than they have been this season, and Pascal Siakam is still an elite talent. Take a chance on the Pacers to upset, and remember, cashing out is ALWAYS an option. Put a unit on this best bet.Â

Atlanta Hawks vs. Utah Jazz Prediction: Thursday, 11/13
- Prediction: Utah Jazz moneyline (+120 Draftkings Sportsbook)Â
There is another team worth taking a risk on, too. The Utah Jazz host the Atlanta Hawks at the Delta Center today. The moneyline was much closer last night, but has blossomed to +120 on DraftKings. Both teams have been inconsistent with high-scoring games and games they lost before the fourth quarter. Utah has advantages in its front court and should exploit the Hawks with Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic.
The Jazz won their most recent match against the Pacers, and had two tough losses against divisional rival, the Minnesota Timberwolves. And before that, they played a close game against the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons. They average the exact same amount of points, and the advantage should go to the home team. Put a unit on this best bet and remember cashing out is always an option.Â
