Welcome to the NBA Best Bets Today as we dive into the action on Thursday, October 30th. It was another profitable day for our Fantasy Alarm NBA picks on Wednesday night. Jarrett Allen fell short of his rebounding proposition, as the Boston Celtics surprisingly blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Minnesota Timberwolves ruined the “Great Northwest Parlay”... to be fair, they didn’t have Anthony Edwards. It is the second game in which they were outscored in the second half.

Domantas Sabonis was nowhere near 14 rebounds, and the under was safe the entire night. The Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic went well over 227.5 points, and that, along with Sabonis’ under,  is what secured the profit for our best bets. Today is a short four-game slate, and all games are locally televised, on NBA League Pass, or SiriusXM. Our NBA Best Bets Today focus on two straight bets and two player props.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 10/30

Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks Prediction: Thursday, 10/30

Game Time: 8:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Fiserv Forum | Odds: Warriors -2.5 | O/U 231.5

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Golden State Warriors at the Fiserv Forum in a potential NBA Finals preview. The Warriors are road favorites, and yes, Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable, but listed as probable. The Warriors are 4 -1 and playing well. However, their loss came on the road, and Antetokounmpo is legitimately the best player of the young season.

The Warriors have a complete roster, with several future Hall of Fame members and young draft picks that are developing into reliable starters. The Milwaukee Bucks also have a young talent who appears to be in a breakout season. Ryan Rollins has played a great Robin to Antetokounmpo’s Batman.

Rollins is averaging 29.8 minutes per game. He scored 25 points against the New York Knicks in a comeback victory. He also has a total of 12 steals (3.0 per game, which leads the NBA) and averages 4.3 assists per game. Paired with Myles Turner, AJ Green, and Gary Trent, the Bucks' starting five is underrated. Kyle Kuzma, Cole Anthony, and Bobby Portis are arguably the best bench trio in the league, too. Put a unit on this best bet, and expect the Bucks to “upset” the Warriors at home.

Orlando Magic vs. Charlotte Hornets Prediction: Thursday, 10/30

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: Local | Location: Spectrum Center | Odds: ORL -2.5  | O/U: 240.5

The Orlando Magic were a large reason our best bets were profitable yesterday. Today, we come back to them in their second of back-to-back road matches. This time it’s on them to win. Playing back-to-back road games is difficult (although, after hearing Mike Turico’s interview with Michael Jordan, it seems there isn’t really an excuse), but the Magic were blown out. They should be mentally prepared for a bounce-back game, and were able to rest for most of the fourth quarter.

The Charlotte Hornets have improved, and the sportsbooks did not make the same mistake twice. Orlando’s total yesterday, 227.5, has jumped to 240.5. That is a high number, and there are several routes to an under. The Hornets average 128.3 points per game, but the Magic are the better team. Paolo Banchero is an All-Star, and the Magic have a better starting unit. Expect the Magic to display better defensive effort tonight. Put a unit on them to win this Southeast Division rivalry.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 10/30

Andrew Wiggins – Under 4.5 Rebounds (-103  DraftKings Sportsbook)

Andrew Wiggins and the Miami Heat play at Frost Bank Center against the undefeated San Antonio Spurs. Victor Wembanyama is moving like a fluid guard, rebounding like an aggressive forward, and playing defense like an elite center. The handles, the power, the intelligence… he is a complete package. He has a skill set different from Nikola Jokic, Russell Westbrook, Oscar Robinson, or any other complete player.

Wiggins will have difficulty rebounding against not only Wembanyama but the Spurs as a whole. San Antonio is allowing the fewest rebounds per game to opposing teams, 34.0. Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell fly around the court and attack missed field goals. Harrison Barnes plays excellent defense, including blocking out so Wembanyama and others can get defensive rebounds. Put a unit on Wiggins, who has fewer than 4.5 rebounds in two of four games this season.

Alex Sarr – Over 7.5 Rebounds (-119 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Alex Sarr looked amazing in his most recent game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He earned 31 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Perhaps that is because Embiid is a defensive liability, but the young man is improving and still developing. He has played over thirty minutes in three of four matches this season.

The Washington Wizards are at the Paycom Center tonight, playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The defending champions are undefeated this season, 5-0. However, that doesn’t mean they are flawless. They allow the 24th most rebounds per game to opponents. Sarr is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game and looks much better this season. Put a unit on this best bet.
