Well, the Saints are on bye this week, so we won’t have any receivers to play against them unfortunately. However, there are plenty of other good matchups to exploit. Through four weeks, it’s Mike Evans leading atop the target leaderboards, with Jarvis Landry and Antonio Brown tied for second. It’s no surprise that after last week, but Julio Jones has the most receiving yards in all of football. If you had any doubts about Julio, it’s time to shed them. The guy is matchup proof and even though he faces Denver this week, he’s still a top 5 option! Also, if you own Odell Beckham, get ready for a roller coaster of a season. This guy is extremely talented, but extremely immature. Sorry, had to get that off my chest again.

FIVE FOR FIVE! Here are your top 5 wide receivers for Week 5.

Antonio Brown vs. NYJ

Brown is a monster, Revis Island has been ransacked this season and the chairman of the island (Darrelle Revis) is dealing with a left hamstring strain. He’s averaging seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown through four games. Come on now, you know he’s a WR1 every damn week.

A.J. Green @ DAL

Green’s 44 targets are tied for the third most in football, but his 32 receptions top the league. He trails only Julio Jones and Marvin Jones in receiving yards, and he draws a matchup with a Dallas defense that has allowed at least one touchdown to wide receivers in three of four games this season. As always, Green is a WR1 this week.

Mike Evans @ CAR

Did you see what Julio did to this defense!? Evans is in line for a huge game. He leads the NFL in targets (48) and the Bucs love to throw the football. They will likely need to try to keep up with Carolina, so double-digit targets and receptions are likely for the big receiver.

Julio Jones @ DEN

He draws a brutally tough matchup, but it’s Julio Jones. He just went for 300 yards last time out there and he has the best chance to get open on his team. Jones, despite a tough matchup, will get open for Matt Ryan and he absolutely has to give him the ball in this one. WR1 status. Matchup proof.

Jordy Nelson vs. NYG

Nelson already has four touchdowns this season and he’s bound to get another one against the Giants. Both teams will put some points on the board and don’t be surprised to see Nelson get behind the New York secondary for a big one. The Giants generate little pass rush, so Aaron Rodgers will have time to let Nelson get down the field.
