Tyler Seguin (hip surgery) has been ramping up his training.
Seguin underwent surgery on his right hip and had his labral repaired on November 2. “With this recovery, it’s been a really slow process, post-op. Especially the first five to six weeks,” Seguin said. “The rehab is very detailed and specific, which is kind of slow and boring. But the last 14 days, I’ve started to feel like an athlete again. I’m doing a lot more stuff at the gym, being able to go on the bike. I was doing just arm bikes before, but now I can bring my legs in a bit, so it’s definitely been better as of late.” Seguin suffered throughout the playoffs with the injury and it was noticeable in his play and points total as he managed only two goals and 13 points in 26 games, and he failed to find the back of the net in his final 15 games. Look for Seguin to play 20-25 games and get close to a point-per-game. Jan 11 10:34 am (EST)
