Welcome into another week of hockey action on the Fantasy Alarm NHL Playbook this Friday! Every team in the NHL has now played at least 10 games this season and you know what that means right? NHL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today 11/6

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Buffalo Sabres: Friday, November 6th

On this Friday slate I think I may be revenge betting on this Blue Jackets and Sabres matchup. Last night I took the Stars money line against this Blue Jackets team and I lost the wager in a shootout and now I want my money back!

 Its not just a revenge narrative though as the Blue Jackets being on the road on the second leg of a back to back is always a worthy target. Over the past 10 games Columbus has scored just 2.75 goals per game and that is the second lowest total in the NHL during that span. By comparison rank in the top half of the league with 3.02 goals during that same time period.  

Columbus sent out Cam Talbot last night in their win and he's been the better of the Blue Jacket goalies thus far. Jet Greaves is expected to start tonight and he has yet to win a road game this season. His 3.07 GAA and .870 SV % aren't great either so let's go ahead and fade the Blue Jackets again and see if we can get our dollars back!

Today's NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Stacks

Goalie of The Day: Jesper Wallstedt, MIN

In a smaller slate you must nail the goalie play and with Wallstedt you are trying to shed some risk that's elsewhere on the board tonight. The Sharks can not score right now and they have the lowest implied goal total on this small slate. It also helps that Wallstedt has been fantastic in the early portion of this season.  

Player of The Day: Tage Thompson, BUF

All the game totals are 6.5 tonight but this matchup between the Sabres and Blue Jackets should see some serious scoring. Thompson has 10 goals on the season thus far and has eight points in his last three games heading into tonight, let's go ahead and back him to stay hot here. 

Value Play of The Day: Matt Coronato, CGY

The Flames are not a trust worthy team lately but a matchup against a tired Ducks team on the back to back makes you want a piece of them here. Coronato is hit or miss, that's why he's 5k on DraftKings but he does have 14 points in 16 games and is a big part of this Flames offense that has an excellent matchup tonight. 

Defenseman Play of the Day: Quinn Hughes, MIN

With 22 points in 17 games you'll have a tough time finding a blue liner on this slate more productive than the Wild star here tonight. He's on the ice half the game it seems and runs the top powerplay unit in a great home matchup against the Sharks tonight. Lock and load for me here. 

Top Stack of the Day: Wild Forward Line 1

Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy, those are the names I need in my lineup tonight. Among lines that have logged at least 100 minutes together this season they rank 2nd in the NHL in expected goals share on the ice.
