This may be the one truly unique week on the entire PGA Tour calendar, as the players will pair up for the lone team event of the season. This is the fourth time the Zurich Classic of New Orleans will be played under this format after last year was wiped out by covid. Another thing that makes this tournament unique is that they play in different formats during the tournament. Rounds 1 and 3 are four ball while Rounds 2 and 4 are alternate shot.

That adds to the challenge of playing DFS this week because those formats play to different strengths. In four ball, making birdies and the occasional eagle is key. If you have a bad hole, there is a good chance your partner will pick you up, so making a few bogies won’t hurt you as much as in a stroke play event. In alternate shot, avoiding troublebecomes far more important. There is nothing worse than playing with a partner who continually puts you in difficult situations you have to try to get out of. With that in mind, this week I’m mostly looking for players with some positive momentum as well as players who are doing well in Par 5 Scoring,  Birdies or Better and Strokes Gained: Approach.

MY ONE & DONE PICK FOR THE WEEK IS KEVIN KISNER

Good Luck!
