The Week 3 NFL DFS slate will surely be an interesting one, as most weeks tend to be! Jaxon Smith-Njigba and CeeDee Lamb sit atop my NFL DFS WR rankings for Week 3. There’s a lot to sort through, but don’t worry, we got you covered here at Fantasy Alarm! Not only will you get my top NFL DFS WR picks for Week 3, but I’ll also cover a top-10 receiver I’m fading, some intriguing DFS stacks, and even a contrarian stack if you want to zig where others zag. Without further ado, let’s dive into the NFL DFS WR Coach for Week 3!

NFL DFS Week 3 WR Picks

Justin Jefferson - DraftKings: $7,500 | FanDuel: $8,400

Kyler Murray will be back under center this week for the Vikings, and things should be far better for the Minnesota offense in Week 3 compared to Week 2. Looking at this matchup with the Bucs, Jefferson projects well, as the Bucs have been a bottom-five defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to the opposition’s LWR. When lined up out wide on the left this season, Jefferson has posted 17 yards per reception and 3.27 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. It was a quiet Week 2 for the star receiver, but with perimeter wideouts posting 15.9 yards per reception against the Bucs this season, big plays could be in store for Jefferson.

Ladd McConkey - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $6,300

We’ll need to keep an eye on his availability throughout the week, but assuming he didn’t come out of the Week 2 game worse than how he went in with the rib issue, he’s in a great spot against Buffalo. The Bills are going to score at will, and the Chargers will HAVE to throw to keep up. Buffalo has allowed an explosive pass rate above the league average, and under Jim Leonhard, they play a ton of zone coverage and two-high safety looks. Well, despite Los Angeles’ struggles this season, McConkey has posted 3.32 yards per route run against zone coverage, and 3.36 yards per route run versus two-high safeties, per FantasyPoints Data.

Vegas has this game total sitting at 50.5 with the Chargers being touchdown underdogs, so that benefits the passing volume, and thus, McConkey in Week 3.

Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $6,100

The Texans boast big-time names at cornerback, but they haven’t been good to begin the 2026 season. In fact, the Texans are a bottom-five team in terms of fantasy points allowed to wide receivers so far, not to mention one of the worst explosive pass rates in the league, per FantasyPoints Data. Alec Pierce is out of the mix, which will keep Downs on the field more, especially in 2WR sets, and overall, Downs projects well. When the opposition doesn’t blitz, Downs has posted 2.49 yards per route run this season, and Houston’s blitz rate is well below the league average. Furthermore, they have played a bunch of single-high safety looks, and Downs has recorded 2.78 yards per route run against single-high safeties this season. Darius Slayton and Laquon Treadwell are boom-or-bust on any given week, but Downs is going to be the steady presence in this offense, and presents Houston with more problems than Keenan Allen or the aforementioned receivers.

Keon Coleman - DraftKings: $4,300 | FanDuel: $5,400

Keon Coleman? Are we really doing this? FAmily, I think we might be.  If DJ Moore misses this game, Coleman is an interesting option to get exposure to this Buffalo passing attack. The Chargers have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the outside left receiver, and if Moore misses, Coleman figures to lead the team in routes run from that spot. Coleman has been better against zone and two-high safeties this season, and that’s very, very lucrative in this matchup. His snap share and route participation rate jumped in Week 2, as expected, and in that Week 2 matchup, Coleman handled a 19.4% target share and 2.42 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. The Bills have an implied point total pushing 30, so someone has to be there through the air. Again, if Moore is out, Coleman is an interesting option.

 

 

 

Best NFL DFS WR Values for Week 3

Best DraftKings WR Value: Jalen Coker - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $6,200

His price point is going to continue to creep up, but as we look at Week 3, how in the world are we getting a guy who has caught eight passes in back-to-back games at just $5,500 on DraftKings’ PPR setup? Myles Harden is vulnerable in slot coverage, and Coker has recorded 2.33 yards per route run out of the slot this year, per FantasyPoints Data. Furthermore, the Browns have played man coverage at the highest rate in the NFL this season, and when they go man, they have the fifth-highest target share allowed to the slot! Coker has outproduced teammate Tetairoa McMillan in fantasy points per route against man coverage this season, per FantasyPoints Data, and I’d expect that to be the case in Week 3.

Best FanDuel WR Value: Denzel Boston  - DraftKings: $4,500 | FanDuel: $5,600

Boston has scored a 45+ yard TD in each of the first two games of the season, and he’s priced the same as Marvin Harrison and Quentin Johnston. Like, what? Regardless of who is under center, the Browns will be playing from behind, and Boston’s 3.72 yards per route run against zone coverage aligns perfectly with Carolina’s tendencies (4th-highest zone coverage rate in NFL), per FantasyPoints Data. He’s on the field a ton, he’s dominating the team’s air yards, and his knack for the big play (and finding the end zone) makes him particularly intriguing on FanDuel this weekend.

Best NFL DFS WR Stacks for Week 3

Best QB/WR Stack

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $8,100

Stack with:

Given the production thus far, this stack, particularly on DraftKings, is quite affordable. Matchups with the lowly Dolphins and struggling Chargers have made Las Vegas’ production against receivers quite strong, but this will be their toughest task. Olave is a zone-buster, posting 3.63 yards per route run against zone coverage this season, per FantasyPoints Data. The Raiders have played zone over 85% of the time this season, and as if Olave’s yards per route run against zone wasn’t impressive enough, how does 57.9% of the team’s air yards, 16 yards per reception, and a 27.7% target share sound? For what it’s worth, Devaughn Vele only has 1.43 yards per route run against zone coverage, per FantasyPoints Data.

Best WR/WR Stack

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - DraftKings: $8,600 | FanDuel: $9,200

Stack with: 

Washington’s secondary is abysmal, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to wideouts and well-above league average explosive play rate. No team has played more two-high safeties than the Commanders (78.3%). Well, Smith-Njigba has an absurd 7.38 yards per route run and 1.91 fantasy points per route run against two-high safeties, and while Shaheed is only at 1.40 yards per route run, his 0.24 targets per route run against two-high safeties trails only JSN, per FantasyPoints Data. Shaheed’s route participation rate and target share jumped in Week 2, and playing more out wide is better than running out of the slot against Washington. I’m worried that Washington can’t keep this game close, but this feels like a game where Shaheed has a long TD.

Best Contrarian Stack

Garrett Wilson, New York Jets - DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $7,300

Stack with:

The Lions have been a punching bag for opposing offenses, and if you can stomach trusting Geno Smith, both Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell are intriguing options, even if a bit contrarian. The Lions' defense this season has featured a ton of blitzes, and sitting in single-high safety looks. Well, Wilson has an elite 3.44 yards per route run and 0.34 targets per route run against single-high safety looks, per FantasyPoints Data, and guess who is also the team’s best wideout against the blitz? You guessed it! Wilson has recorded 3.25 yards per route run, 0.40 targets per route run, and an excellent 0.97 fantasy points per route run against the blitz in 2026, per FantasyPoints Data.

Mitchell is intriguing as well, seeing as he saw his snap rate jump in Week 2 with Omar Cooper out of the mix, and Mitchell has posted 2.93 yards per route run against single-high safety looks this season, per FantasyPoints Data. The Lions rank in the bottom-10 of the NFL in fantasy points allowed to outside receivers, and that’s exactly where Mitchell will be in this one.

 

 

 

NFL DFS WR Fade for Week 3

Stefon Diggs, Washington Commanders - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $6,400

No Jayden Daniels? Facing Seattle? This price point? Nope. I’m out. Seattle has been difficult on slot receivers and opposing offenses in general, and that won’t change this week and Marcus Mariota and the Commanders. Diggs has been a weapon out of the slot, but there’s just not enough ceiling here to warrant playing, and paying for Diggs in DFS lineups this week isn’t contrarian. It’s just dumb. Mariota hasn’t been good under pressure, and I don’t believe this Washington O-Line has a chance in slowing down Seattle’s front seven.

NFL DFS Week 3 WR Play of the Week

CeeDee Lamb - DraftKings: $7,800 | FanDuel: $8,600

You’re going to want/need a receiver from the slate’s highest projected total, and paying up for Lamb seems like the play for me. I was in on Pickens last week against Washington, but Lamb was the one who crushed. Looking at this matchup, Lamb is the better play. You have to love Dallas at home, and through two weeks, the Ravens are well above average in terms of two-high safety looks, and blitz rate, per FantasyPoints Data. Well, all Lamb has done this year is post 4.34 yards per route run and 0.34 targets per route run against two-high safeties, and a 3.29 yards per route run mark against the blitz, per FantasyPoints Data.

Both teams will score, and through two games, Lamb is averaging 8.5 targets and 1.5 touchdowns per game.

 

 

 

DraftKings vs. FanDuel WR Picks for Week 3

There are some notable price discrepancies on the sites, and it’s mostly related to the scoring formats between the sites, but it does create some interesting value. Malik Nabers is the seventh-most expensive on FanDuel, but 11th-most expensive on DraftKings. DK Metcalf is the 16th-highest priced receiver on FanDuel, but 23rd on DraftKings. Emeka Egbuka is 25th on FanDuel, but 14th (!!!) on DraftKings! As for other value options, if Nico Collins were to be out, Xavier Hutchinson is inside the top 35 on FanDuel, but outside the top 55 on DraftKings! If you play on both sites, it’s imperative to understand each site’s scoring format, as well as the price point on each site, to ensure you capitalize on any value that is being offered!
